Familliar Face

The airship cruised along the horizon towards Valor.

"Almost there." Said Yuko.

Yumi still, along the way thinking about her friend Crystal while holding a letter, seems like it's from her.

"What's that ?" Ask Yuko.
"A letter..." Said Yumi.
"From ?" Ask Yuko back.
"Her... You know what I mean." Said Yumi.
"What's it say ?" Yuko curious.
"Take a look of it yourself." Said Yumi, as he hand over the letter.

Hey, what you're up to ? I hope you're fine. I was thinking about him again. I know, you're getting sick of it, but I can't stop thinking about him. He disappeared without a single trace, and it made my whole family worried. My parents considered him as my "Brother", it's annoying really to always see him standing, waiting at my door just to wake me up. But now, without hearing any single word from him, makes me quite worried. Really hope he's fine out there... Somewhere...

"Wow..." Said Yuko surprised.
"She really care about him huh..." Said Yuko, as he returned the letter to Yumi.
"She describe him as a caretaker... Only a little bit too much. I can see why, she's the only heir the kingdom has. And Arcanic has the task to take care of her." Said Yumi.
"You know, I'm starting to think about his whereabouts..." Said Yumi.
"We all do, we all do Yumi." Said Yuko as he steered the gear to the right.

"Hey look !" Said Green.
"We're here !" Said Slyver.
"Wow... Valor is still as it is long ago, I'm surprised." Said William.
"There's some things that never change here. Anyway, what's your name ?" Ask Slyver.
"William." William introduced himself.
"Slyver." Slyver replied.
"Quite a name you have there." Said William.
"Easy to remember, besides... Every name has it's own hidden meanings." Said Slyver.

Then, they landed at the airship's port. One by one everyone went down to the city. The night had gone dark. It seems that they had landed at night time.

"Ugh, we landed at the wrong time." Said Slyver.
"Why ?" Ask Green.
"I don't think we can enter the castle at this time." Said Slyver.
"I could pursue the guard to let us enter." Said Yuko.
"It's not about that, what I mean is the royal family probably slept already." Said Slyver.
"Hmm, then we should stay at the airship until morning." Yuko suggested.
"Agree." Green replied.

Then, they went back inside the airship to skip the night.

"Alright, I'll go with William as the guard duty. You can go ahead and sleep." Said Yuko.
"As you say so." Said Slyver.

Yuko and William went outside as the other went into their room of choice to sleep. At the night however, Slyver seems to have a problem.

"Arcanic... Arcanic... Where on earth are you..." Slyver mumbled, thinking.

Outside...

"So... You're my father's royal assassin, am I correct ?" Ask Yuko.
"Yes, I've been one for quite some time." Said William.
"How come I didn't know ?" Ask Yuko.
"Sometimes... Things better to be kept secret." Said William.
"I wanted to know." Said William, insisting.
"You'll know when the time comes, trust me." Said William.

As they are patrolling, William saw a glimpse of a figure.

"Who goes there ?" Ask William.

Then he heard a squeak on his back.

"Show yourself !" William draw his weapon.

Before he knew what was going on, a magic surrounded him and put him to sleep. Yuko, who was patrolling at the other area eventually see William unconscious.

"William ! Wake up !" Said Yuko, trying to awake him.

Yuko didn't realize that the figure was standing behind him so close that the aura can be felt by Yuko. Yuko silents... Slowly, he tried to cast his magic. However, before he finish it, he was put to sleep.
