Separated from the Group

"Hey Crystal, can I come in ?" Ask Cynthia as she knocked the door.

Crystal didn't respond.

"Crystal ? Are you alright ?" Ask Cynthia, as she knocked again.

Still, no answer or respond from Crystal. Then, Cynthia opened the door and found Crystal looking down with her hands on her face.

"Hey Crystal, are you alright ?" Ask Cynthia.
"Oh ! Cynthia... I didn't know you were here." Said Crystal, as she wiped something from her face.
"Crystal, are you crying ?" Ask Cynthia.
"No, I'm okay." Said Crystal.

Cynthia sure something happened when she entered Crystal's room. She noticed Crystal acted strange the moment she started talking to her.

At the deck...

"Wow, I never seen the sky can be this beautiful at night..." Slyver gazed into the stars.
"Agree." Said Yuko.

"Hey you two, have you seen Arcanic ?" Green appeared from the entrance.
"Arcanic ? No. I didn't see him since we're at the dining room." Said Yuko.
"Hmm... Okay thanks." Said Green.
"Is something matter ?" Ask Slyver.
"Well, I haven't seen him since we're having a dinner so I'm quite worried." Said Green.
"Right... Find him if you can, and if you do, bring it to me." Said Slyver.
"What for ?" Ask Green.
"I wanna have some conversation with him, you know... Getting things clear." Said Slyver.
"Apologies... Good thing you noticed." Said Green.
"Alright, I'll go find him, see you two around." Green waved his hand as he went back inside.

Inside the airship, Green happened to meet Yumi who was wandering around in the corridor.

"Hey Yumi, do you see Arcanic ?" Ask Green.
"No, I'm looking for him too." Said Yumi.
"Oh really ? Then let's find him together." Green suggested.
"Alright, split up ?" Ask Yumi.
"Sure." Said Green.
"I'll meet you back here." Green added.
"Got it." Said Yumi.

At the deck...

"We're going to Yvenith right ?" Ask Slyver.
"Yep, the faster we go the better." Said Yuko.
"Say, you have any idea where Arcanic could be ?" Ask Slyver.
"Hmm, why all of the sudden you ask that ?" Ask Yuko.
"I just, kind of worried." Said Slyver.
"Even though he looks perfect, not just appearance, but intelligent as well... He has one big weakness that limits his movement." Said Slyver.
"And that is ?" Ask Yuko.
"He has mental issue, his mental can break really fast." Said Slyver.
"Wow, really ?" Ask Yuko.
"Green told me after he lost his parents, his mind stuck in his young age. Every time he remembered his father or his mother, he started crying." Said Slyver.
"That's... Rough." Said Yuko.
"I know, and the worst part is he has to live with that for years, even now." Said Slyver.
"Any idea how to cure him ?" Ask Yuko.
"No, we tried. Me and Green looked for various treatment, but unfortunately... It made it worse." Said Slyver.
"Every time he sees something violent, his mind goes dark. Or if I call it, he went into his dark side." Said Slyver.
"So, you've seen him going insane once." Said Yuko.
"Yes, but unfortunately not in his true form." Said Slyver.
"Now I'm confused." Yuko's eyes circled around.
"Let me explain, this is based on his story he told me, be aware that this is beyond my knowledge and perhaps yours, but here goes..." Said Slyver.

Arcanic was born in a village called Terraform. A place where no one knows it's existence, rumors told that Terraform is a land of fertility, anything that planted there can grow. Arcanic has a father, named Adam, and a mother named Luna. Adam was a ruler of the darkness, Luna on the other hand was a Minister of the light. Because of this, light and darkness live together in happiness. Both swore to each other to protect the universe, until... A cataclysm happened. An army from the underworld invade the world, causing damage upon it. Adam saw this and asked Luna to guard Arcanic to stop this cataclysm. Singlehandedly he drove away the army back to the underworld, including the leader, Lucifer. And life was saved once again. Arcanic saw this action and asked Adam to teach him how to become one, he simply said "You will become like me when the time comes, until then... Learn." Arcanic grew as a kid, and started learning magic from his father. Slowly, he mastered almost everything his father taught him. But one day, a day where everything is ruined. The underworld came back to invade, this time, the army is filled with purple crystals and matters around them. Adam call it "Chaos". A power sealed long ago before humanity came to the world. It's power can be both deadly to the enemy and it's user. It slowly corrupt the user's body, eventually taking over it's mind and control it. So yes, it's a living thing. Adam tried to draw back the army but barely surviving on it's own. Luna sees this and helped Adam to drew back the army. They succeeded, but with a cost of their own life. Adam and Luna got stabbed by a chaos crystal. Arcanic rushed towards them, trying to pull out the crystals but is too big and heavy for him. Adam called his name, and said "Arcanic, you need to save the world before it's too late, take this." As he gave Arcanic a dagger. Arcanic cried out, telling them not to die, but Adam simply said this "Arcanic, you're the only last hope the humanity has, save them. The key, contains a power called Bloodlust, I... Can't control it just yet, so I... Need you to control it." In that moment Adam died. His mother called her son and said "Arcanic, I need you to save the princess. She's in grave danger, help her unlock her power..." And so, Luna died as well.

"That is a messed up story for a someone like Arcanic." Said Yuko.
"That's why every time he goes mad I'm instantly afraid and apologize, because I don't want him to cause destruction." Said Slyver.
"Hmm, now I wonder..." Said Yuko.
"I've seen some purple crystals on the journey, you think it's that thing called Chaos ?" Ask Yuko.
"Perhaps... I'm also wondering if Arcanic is actually the Prince of the darkness." Said Slyver.
"It's logically true if you say it based on what you just told me." Said Yuko.
"It's beyond our knowledge, I guess let the time tell us." Said Slyver.
"Right..." Yuko nodded.

Somewhere...

"I call upon your name, Fallheim. Come to me." A person wearing a black hood calling for someone.

Shortly after, Fallheim appeared.

"My prince, it is glad to see you alive and steady." Said Fallheim.
"Enough with the talk Fallheim, we're on a crisis." Said the man.
"What kind of crisis ?" Ask Fallheim.
"A crisis that endangered both the human realm and the spirit realm." Said the man.
"I want you to help them every step of their way, guard them." Said the man.
"What for my prince ?" Ask Fallheim.
"They're collecting the artifacts, to seal the chaos fountain." Said the man.
"Ah... That foul structures, imitating our own." Said Fallheim.
"Then what will you do my prince ?" Ask Fallheim.
"I'm going to find Dzaych, he's the only general alive and not corrupted." Said the man
"Yes my prince, I'll make sure they're safe." Said Fallheim.
"Don't call me prince will you ? Arcanic." Said Arcanic.
"I'm sorry, but one must not allow to be called by the name." Said Fallheim.
"Sure, whatever you say... Get going." Said Arcanic.
"Yes my prince." Said Fallheim, as he vanished.

"Dzyach Weymouth... Let's hope you're still in your lair..." Arcanic mumbled.
