It seemed like an eternity had passed since I'd last spoke to her. Almost a week had raced by me since then and it never hurt any less when her words sliced through me.

What the fuck was wrong with me?

I'd been on my balcony, gazing at the view— with a fatty rolled up. I didn't wanna believe that she'd been telling the truth about the pregnancy. I didn't know much about pregnancies, but it was no way someone else could've been the father.

But why else would she lie? If anything, you'd think she'd jump at the chance to have a rich baby father... I shook my head, I knew better than that. Yona wasn't one to go around looking for handouts. Putting the blunt to my lips, I inhaled.

I'd washed my hands of her days ago. I exhaled, I needed to start acting like it, I thought, putting the blunt out before getting into bed.

Ring
Ring
Ring

I tossed over in my sleep, chucking my phone; I heard it clatter on my nightstand.

Ring
Ring

I groaned, frustrated. By the time I'd grabbed my phone, whoever was calling had hung up. I'd had thirty missed calls from Keem and Porsha. My face scrunched in confusion, Porsha had never called me before.

We'd only exchanged numbers, just Incase. Keem had also texted me a few times— just to demand that I pick up the phone. As I was about to set it back down, he started calling again.

I groaned.

"What? Nigga, it's one in th—"

"Day, mayne- it's..."

My eyebrows came up together. He was stuttering, he'd hardly done that before. "Spit it out."

"It's Ayona, mayne."

I rolled my eyes, "You just wasted your time, I'm done with her."

He sighed. "Nah, you don't get it— we in the emergency room..."

My heart stopped for a split second and when it picked back up, it thundered throughout my ears. The swooshing in my ears overpowered any outside noise, for a few moments. I chuckled, "What you mean?"

I heard some commotion on the other end of the line before Porsha's shaken voice took over. "Daystar, we don't know what happened but it's bad, now get here," she ordered.

The line clicked, she'd hung up. I sprung to action. As quickly as I could, I threw on some sweatpants and a fitted T-shirt before I grabbed my keys.

It's probably nothing serious, I hoped. She's fine. This probably one of Porsha's little schemes again.
