A/N: That's Tamika for yall. Idk who she is, but if any of yall do then feel free to comment her name or DM me.

Ayona

"Mika, don't run too far ok?"

She nodded, "Okayyy, Momma." She ran off with a couple other girls that were around her age. I sat on the bench and watched as she interacted with the girls.

I'd brought Tamika to the park, trying to kill some time. It hadn't been too long ago that our lives had been in ruins, so when Tamika's second birthday had come around the corner, Porsha had promised to put her all into planning it while I spent the better part of the day occupying her.

I'd tried to keep our schedule light, after all, I didn't want her exhausted until after her celebration, so we'd gone to the mall to get our nails done. After that, we'd shopped for some new outfits and new shoes. I loved when my baby was happy. I'd gotten her a two-piece bathing suit in case she wanted to swim in the pool Porsha had in her basement.

So here I was relaxing on a bench as I patiently awaited Porsha's phone call. I sighed. Even though it was a good day, something was missing.

Daystar.

He'd gone out of town.

He'd been away from the music for so long, that when things had finally settled down, he'd turned himself into a workaholic. Only Lord knew where he was, Daystar had been city-hopping so often, I lost track.

Tamika's first birthday had been far from perfect, her mother had been a selfish bitch who couldn't seem to get it together for the sake of her only child. And now that her mother finally had it together, it looked as if her father was going through a midlife crisis, which was basically her mother's fault.

I knew she'd be disappointed, she was such a daddy's girl, but there wasn't much I could do about it. Daystar was determined to provide for his family. I just hoped that Porsha and I would be enough to keep her busy for her special day.

I was waiting for Porsha to call me and let me know when we could go back to hers and that made me a little anxious. Tamika was turning two and I felt like it was just yesterday when I'd given birth to her.

Tamika had nearly scared me when she ran up in between my legs, I'd thought she'd gotten hurt or something but she merely—after getting her breathing back to normal said, "Mommy, I'm thirsty."

Always overreacting.

Pulling out her bottle full of diluted apple juice, I pulled the top off handing it to her. Porsha always gave me shit for mixing juices with water, but I just wanted to slowly wain her off juice. When she was done, she handed it back to me.

"Thank you mommy." She smiled, kissing me on the cheek and running off to join three adorable girls who eagerly waited her return.

I watched as they played. One minute they were pointing at each other shoes, clothes, hair and the next they were taking turns pushing each other on the swings. "Is she yours? The one with the two long braids?" (A/N: Tamika... whoever child this is.., omg she's beautiful)

I looked up and a tall slim but kind of curvy Caucasian lady was looking at me expectedly and I nodded looking in Tamika's direction, "Yea, she is."

She smiled at me before turning her attention towards the four of them play, "She's gorgeous.., Sherese, by the way," she said turning back to face me and holding her hand out.

I shook it, "Ayona, nice to meet you and thank you..."

She sat next to me as we made small talk, it turned out that two of her kids were playing with Tamika and they were twins—identical twins. Which I would've noticed if they'd both had the same skin color but one was white while the other was black. When I was finally able to see them a little up close they looked exactly alike.

Miracles, that's what they were. Exceptional miracles.

Sherese and I talked and talked while we watched the kids, I was just about to invite her and the twins to Mika's birthday party when my phone started ringing.

"Yea?"

"Yall can start heading this way, but when yall come in yall go straight up to my room and I'll meet yall ight?"

"Yea, ight."

I hung up before inviting Sherese and her kids. After, we exchanged numbers, Mika and I left.
