Ayona
"It's been a fucking month and a half!!!" I screamed at the nurse. My frustration was beyond anything it had been before.
I turned to Day, tears welling up in my eyes, causing my vision to blur. "Day, do something. I need to see her!"
"You've seen her every time I have." Was his calm remark.
Swiping at my face aggressively, I gritted my teeth a furious groan shot out. "Fucking pictures Daystar! Fucking pictures. I wanna hold my baby."
The nurse only stared, along with a few others in the hallways. I broke down sobbing.
"Do you have any idea how much pain I'm in, knowing that everyone including my boss has seen her—except me!"
He came up beside me rubbing my back, an attempt to comfort me. "Get off me!" I snapped.
He sighed. Like he was going through half the shit I was.
"Doc saying you need to be healed up first or there's a chance she can get an infection from you."
"Yona, stop working yourself so much. Let your body heal you gone have all the time in the world with her."
I was exhausted and I felt, just useless.
Pissed, was my mood of the month though, every time I'd ask to see her—it was the same shit with different nurses or Doctors.
Always some bullshit ass excuse why I couldn't see her.
Nobody understood that no matter what happened to me, the pain in my heart was always worse then the pain in my body.
My heart ached. I wanted to hold her and keep her close to me.
From what I'd heard she was growing fast. She'd barely been five ounces when she'd been born, now though I was sure she was about six and some change.
Bullshit!!
"Hey sis." Tiny, my brother, rolled in with a coffee cup in his hand. He grimaced, "Every time I walk up in here, you always looking mad as fuck. Shit, I'm sure you scaring the whole floor."
I glared, I knew if I'd opened my mouth something terrible would come flying out.
He took a second look at me, "Shit let me shut the fuck up, for she fuck me up—wait she can't get outta bed."
Ughhhhhhh!! I reached to the side grabbing whoever's phone off the table, chucking it towards him—he'd been too busy laughing at his own joke to notice even though Day tried to warn him.
"Oww," he turned towards me, rubbing his head. "Wait till them stitches heal up, I'm beating that ass."
"Ya momma," I growled.
Daystar just shook his head, bending down to grab the phone whose screen just shattered. "That was my phone, Yona." I ignored him, shrugging.
"I don't know how you deal with her. She annoying as fuck." Tiny took a seat, eyeing me as Daystar walked out.
Daystar had been the one, who'd been thoughtful enough to call my mom and Tiny. That's how they'd ended up here, all staying over at Daystar's including my sister Tyona.
I started crying, hot tears running down my face uncontrollably, making Tiny look up from his phone.
"Oh Ona." He got up coming to sit next to me. This was the way my hormones worked lately.
I'd have a flare up of rage and then tears would bubble to the surface like a volatile volcano.
"Talk to me sis. You just been lashing at everybody since I got here." But I couldn't talk. I just knew that my heart ached for my baby, Day barely ever talked to me, and I was tired of sitting in the hospital.
Tiny got the clue though and instead held me to his chest until my cry's eventually turned to even breathing from sleeping.
