Things seemed like they were getting out of hand. Yona and I had been prepared that eventually we'd have to deal with Shania, but I hadn't anticipated that outcome.

Shania was on some shit for coming at Ayona like that.

To say I'd been worried was an understatement. I'd never seen Ayona so mad in the two years I knew her.

Shania was definitely fucked up, but she made her bed coming at Yona like that.

When the fight had ended, I'd taken Yona's things up to her and we talked.

She'd made it clear she didn't want anything to do with anybody at that moment, since then I'd been rotating in between staying with Kenny and going back to my crib, in order to check in on Tamika.

I knew her anger wasn't necessarily directed towards me, but still, I had a part to play in the situation. I wasn't exactly proud of myself.

Porsha came walking passed the kitchen, purse slung over her shoulder and she appeared to be in a hurry.

"You just got off work, where you going?" I called.

Even though she'd quickly walked passed me, her steps had stopped and changed directions.

She peeked her head in the kitchen. "I'm worried bout Ayona. It's boutta be a week and she still ain't answering my calls. I know you said she wanted space, but she been through a lot..."

I nodded, "You know her." I looked at the time. "She probably getting off work right about now. Lemme know if she need me."

"Okay, Keem boutta leave out around nine for work, Tamika should be sleep by then..."

She walked out and shortly after, the front door shut signaling her departure.
