Chapter 6

Next day you are in school with Roman who is staring at filled snake and knocks on the showcase glass.

"Roman what are you doing?", you ask.

"Nothing", he says in his thougts.

You just lean on the wall. After yesterday Roman has been with you all the time and been so nice to you. You and him are waiting for Shelley. Teacher announces something about todays halloween dance, like how there are police officers and how certain clothes should not be kept.

When you see Shelley coming out from the class you start walking to her, Roman doesen't notice, because he is still interested in the snake. Before you get to her Peter hurries to her.

"Hold it! Cool", he says and helps Shelley to get paper off, from under Shelley's shoe.

You walk next to Shelley listening their conversation, you smile at Shelley when she looks at you.

"So, you going to this dance?", Peter asks from Shelley.

Shelley shakes she's head and smiles a little bit to him.

"Oh, guess there's not much point to me goin, huh?", Peter asks flirtly.

Then some guy just pushes Peter off his way Peter's books drop on the ground and he accidentally hits you and you fall on the ground.

"Oh", you say. Peter takes your hand and pull you up.

"Are you okay?", he asks.

"Yeah and thanks", you say and smirk to him.

"I'm sorry", Shelley writes regretful to Peter on her machine which changes the text to speech.

"Don't be sorry. You're too pretty" , Peter says to her and swings her hair.

Then Peter starts collect his book from the ground, Roman comes and takes one book. They get up and Roman gives the book to Peter.

"Get your fucking hands off my sister, man", Roman says angrily.

Peter look at Shelley and smirks.
"Is this funny to you?", Roman asks and glare to Peter.

Peter stops laughing and looks frightening. Then Roman starts to laugh.

"I'm just...", he starts. "You want a lift home?"

"Why?", Peter asks.

"Whatever, why not?", Roman says and put his arm over your shoulder and takes you with him to his car.

You four go to car and Roman starts driving to his house to leave Shelley there. You listen music and wind is blowing to your face and you just smile, because in this moment you feel so happy.

When you are at Roman's Shelley's and your current home yard. Roman asks:

"Y/N do you want stay here or do you want to come bring Peter at his house?"

"I can stay here with Shelley, because I have to get ready for the dance", you say and go out of the car with Shelley.

You smile to Roman who looks at you looking worried.

"I will be okay Roman", you say.

"Okay, we will see soon", Roman says and drives away.

You and Shelley go inside and go to Shelley's room. You sit on her bed.

"Shelley what dress should I wear?", you ask to her, because you don't know yet what do you want to wear.

"I think you look good in any dress", Shelley says.

Shelley is always so kind and nice.

"Thank you Shelley, you are the best", you say to her and hug her.

You found a beautiful dress from Shelley's wardrobe, you don't have any dresses, but luckily Shelley had some, which are too small for her. You put the dress on and look at yourself from the mirror.

"I actually look really good", you think. You go to Shelley, who smiles to you.

"Y/N you look pretty, I love that dress", Shelley says.

"Thank you", you say.

You wheel around the room and laugh, Shelley comes wheeling with you.

"I should go to take this off, because dance start after couple hours", you say.

"Yes you should", you hear woman voice behind you.

You turn around and see Olivia Godfrey, Shelley's and Roman's mother standing in the doorway.

"You can't just take my little girl's clothes like that and wear them", Olivia says.

"I'm not keeping it, I'm just borrowing it", you say.

Olivia stares at you angrily.

"Just take it off and don't use it", Olivia says.

You hold your tears, because Olivia reminds you about your father.

"O-okay", you shutter.

"Mother, she can keep it, that dress doesn't look good on me", Shelley says.

"No she can't, I have bought that dress and if it doesen't fit you I will keep it", Olivia says and then she leaves.

You go take the dress of and put your own clothes back on. You sit on the bed and cover your face with your hands. Tears run down your cheeks. Shelley sit next to you and hugs you.

"Y/N, don't care about her", she says.

You take your hands of your face and look Shelley in the eyes.

"I don't want to go to dance anymore", you say to her with weakly voice.

"Why?", you hear voice from the
doorway.

It's Roman.

"Umm... Your mother didn't let me put Shelley's dress", you say sadly.

"Y/N looked so good in it and I really want her to use it, but mother didn't let her to use it", Shelley says.

"I go talk to her", Roman says.

"Roman you don't have to", you say.

"I know, but I will", Roman says and leaves.

"Y/N, use it", Roman says, when he comes back.

You start smiling.

"Thanks Roman", you say and get up, you walk to Roman and put your hands over his neck and hug him.

Roman hugs you back. He looks you into your eyes and says:

"I'm happy that you are my friend"

"I'm too", you say and smirk to him.

I think this is not really good, but next chapter will be better :D
