Why does it have to be so hard? Roman Godfrey X Reader

Chapter 3

After a hard experience, you go to bed at Roman's house extra bedroom. You just want to forgot what happened and move on, but it's not that easy. Not at all.

You see nightmare at night about your dad. You wake up when Roman is shaking you:

"Y/n wake up!"

You open your eyes and look at Roman, who is so worried, you just see it on him eyes.

"You saw a nightmare and you were screaming", Roman says with a nervous voice.

"Thanks for waking me up", you say and smile a little.

"It's allright", Roman says and smile to you.

"I think I can't sleep anymore", you say.

"I can be with you", Roman says and higs you nicely.

You spent rest of night with Roman, just talking about your dad and your mom, you haven't tell about them to nobody. It really helps if you talk hard things to somebody.

At morning you go to eat breakfast with Roman and Shelley. Shelley is really nice to you and you like her too, she have been your friend a long time, as long as Roman have been your friend.

"We should leave to school now girls", Roman says to you and Shelley.

"Okay", you say and get up. You walk to car and sit on the back with Shelley.

After school you and Roman are walking to car. You see Shelley walking along the corridor. There are those bitches who are laughing at Shelley and imitate she. It's annoying and you glare at them.

"Hey sis", Roman says to Shelley and you go to walk with her.

"Hi Shelley", you say and smile to her.

You see a new boy staring at Shelley, you and Roman. You just smile to him a little and keep going.

In the evening you are eating dinner, with Shelley, Roman and Olivia. You just keep quiet, Olivia doesen't like it too much, that you are here. You guys are just eating in silence.

"And, have we got anything more enlightening to report from a day at school?", Olivia ask.

"There's a new kid", Roman says.

"He's a gypsy. This girl's been spreading  all these crazy rumours about him", Roman continues.

"I think he's related to that guy in the trailer by the river", Roman says.

Olivia throw the fork on the plate and say disdainfully:

"Filth" Then you all just continue eating in silence.

Next day, you walk to Shelleys room and see her crying.

"Hey Shelley what's wrong?", you ask.

You see the news what Shelley is watching. Somebody or something has killed, or more like tored a girl from your school, everyone are upset about it. Some girls think that new kid at your school have done it. You turn the laptop off and hug Shelley.

"It's okay Shelley, I'm right here", you comfort her.

Next day at school you and Roman are  sitting on the banister. Roman is smoking and buying some cigarettes from some guy. You see that new guy again ane he is staring at Roman.

"Hey Roman, that guy is staring at you", you say.

"Yeah I know I'm so handsome", Roman says.

You laugh and look again down where that guy was, but he is not there anymore. You look Roman and he look at you and shrug his shoulders.

After school you and Roman are in kitchen. Roman gives you some beer and take one to himself.

"The vigil being held later tonight", Olivia says from the kitchen doorway.
"You sister would like to attend"

Roman looks at Olivia frustratingly.

"Pass, I've spent all day around fucking crying girls", Roman says.

"Did you know her?", Olivia ask to Roman.

Roman shrug his shoulders. You just sit on the table listening their conversation and drinking beer.

"I thought there were no girls in a hundred kilometers for which you would not have any experience", Olivia says and look at you.

You look away from her eyes.

"I didn't know her, different circuits I guess", Roman says.

Then Roman nods to you and you jump off from the table. You walk past Olivia and Roman is coming right behind you. Olivia stop Roman and you turn around, watching what is happening.

"How are you darling?", Olivia asks to Roman.

"I'm fine" Roman says, "Why wouldn't I be fine?"

Olivia doesn't answer she is just staring at Roman.

"Can you trust me?", Olivia asks to Roman.

"Yeah", Roman says and leave to his room with you.

"What was that about?", you ask to Roman.

"I don't know", Roman says being a little confused.

"Roman I know you knew her", you say to him.

You are sitting on Roman's bed when Roman is on the laptop.

"Why did you lie to your mom?", you ask.

Roman doesn't answer he is just staring at his laptop. You walk behind him, he is watching pictures about her. You know that he is sad about her death. You hold your hand around his neck.

"Roman you should know that I will always be here for you", you whisper to his ear.

"Yeah I know", he says and put his hand on your hand.

Then you kiss him to forehead and go to your own bedroom.
