Chapter 13

I'm sorry that I didn't update last week, because I really didn't have and idea how things should go. But here is a new chapter. I don't know if the things will be a bit confusing in this chapter.

Next morning you wake up from your bed, you are still tired. Roman sat next to you last night couple hours, until you fell asleep. You didn't get enough sleep, because you were scared and shocked and you still are, but not that badly.

You sit up and stretch your legs and arms. Today is day without school, so you don't have to hurry anywhere and you can be save here, you don't think your father would try anything.

You get up and go to shower.

You stand under the warm water and remember all what happened yesterday.

"Ugh. Yesterday wasn't really good day", you think and sigh.

When Roman was drunk, he was acting weird and you don't like when people around you are drunk, you have bad memories of alcohol, because your dad.

And that thing your father is free again is so scary. Couple days ago you thought that all that shit has been left behind, but no.

You go to kitchen to eat some breakfast, you don't even remember last time when you have eat and you are hungry.

Shelley sits on the chair and smiles to you.

"Good morning", you say to her and clap her head.

"Morning. But it's not really morning anymore. It's about one o'clock", Shelley says.

"Oh", you mutter and go to open the fridge.

You pick up big chocolate pudding and butter, then you put two toasts in the toaster, you wait a little moment. Then you decice to bake some bacon and eggs.

When your food is ready you sit down next to Shelley.

"Are you okay? I heard you crying last night?", Shelley asks.

"Yeah. I just got some terrible news", you say calmly.

"Okay. What news did you get?", Shelley asks worry in her eyes.

"My father escaped from jail and I think he is coming for me", you say quietly.

"I'm sorry", Shelley says and hugs you.

"Thank you, but I will get through this somehow", you say and smile a little sad smile.

After eating, you go to living room. Roman is sitting on the couch and smoking.

"Hey", you say and sit next to him.

"Hey", Roman says and turns to you. "How are you?"

"Umm. Pretty okay, I guess. I'm just scared", you say and lead your head back.

"Hey, you are my best friend. I would do anything for you", Roman says and claps your head.

"I guess so", you say.

"What do you mean by that?", Roman asks.

"Nothing. Just.." , you try to say.

Then doorbell rings.

Roman grabs your arm and pulls your up.

"Come", he says and start walking to the hall.

"Okay", you say and follow him, walking slowly.

Roman leans against the doorframe and listens when Olivia is talking to someone.

You walk next to Roman and cross your arms.
