Jc's POV
I escaped the party heading up to the roof to think. I could hear Dom yelling my name from the pool below but I ignored him. I ignored everyone and everything, laying back and staring at the sunset sky, a mixture of orange and pink, my favorite type of sky. I had the address that would take me directly to Skylar yet I couldn't bring myself to call an Uber and just go. It killed me inside that she had been this close yet didn't try to see me. I wanted nothing more than to see her sparkling eyes and hear her laugh. She had this sense of wonder that made me want to explore every inch of this Earth with her. I took out my phone staring at the address once more, my heart screamed go you idoit but my mind screamed if she wanted you she would be here now. I closed my eyes, God if I should go to her now give me a sign, I opened my eyes again to see an airplane shooting across the sky. That was as much of a sign as I needed, I dial Uber, I was going to see my girl tonight.
