The next morning I was awoken by a phone call, Jc was already up for the day and at the gym. I sat up in bed dazed and confused before realizing it was indeed my phone ringing. I answered with a grumbled, "Hello?"

"Well don't you sound lovely," a familiar voice shouted into the phone.

"Melman!" I shouted back, a bit more awake. "What did I do to be granted with a call from you?"

"I was just checking up really, just had some time off in between cases and wanted to see how you were doing." he spoke softly and kindly, something I knew only when Mel was either heartbroken or extremely happy.

"Well I'm actually doing pretty well," I paused. "Mel?"

"Yes?" he replied a bit of sadness in his voice.

"If you wanted to know how I was doing and that was the sole purpose of this phone call, you could have discovered this information on your own, let's be real here."

"Oh Skylar Grace, I have taught you well!" he said with excitement. "Meet me at Starbucks, the closest one to you, we may have a problem."

"Sure thing, give me about twenty minutes." my heart sank, when Mel said we may have a problem, it always meant me did have a problem. And not a little problem, a huge one.
