I took a walk from Aunt Marsha's to the beach this morning. I had been staying with her for about two months. Though she was the only family I had left, she still almost felt like a stranger to me. A result in not getting to see her since I was so young. Aunt Marsha helped me move in to my first house in California, I knew that if I ran to her she would be there for me. However she was somewhat suffocating, she rarely let me out of her sight, so I never took for granted the days when she would have to leave for work and I could explore. Aunt Marsha was an artist, well what she calls an artist, I would say a woman who uses art as an excuse to make a mess of her house. But I had to admit she did have some talent and whenever she got a deal she earned big bucks. If my mom was here to see her paint splattered living room walls and graffetied kitchen, I'm sure she would have a lecture in store for her baby sister.

Today I took the Penny board Marsha had bought me and had one goal in mind, getting to the ocean. Riding done the streets wind in my hair felt comforting. I felt as if I could do anything, when I was younger and would feel the wind blow through my hair I used to listen closely for whispers from my parents or Noah, now a days I enjoyed the whipping sound of the air against my skin. The sun was hot and I wanted nothing more than to feel the salt water against my skin. I rode on faster, knowing I was getting close.

"Hey!" I heard a feminine voice scream loudly. I ignored it assuming it was someone who was going to complain about me riding through the streets. "Hey stop!" I ignored again. I heard feet pounding against the pavement behind me, someone really was running after me to tell me to ride on the sidewalk. I slowed slightly, to glance back and see just who was this eager to chase after me. Andrea, I skidded to a stop. "Oh thank God, I didn't think I was gonna catch you! I haven't ran so fast in years!"

"Sorry I was afraid you were some lunatic trying to bitch me out for riding in the street instead of the sidewalk again." I laughed stepping up on the sidewalk next to her.

"Well now that you mention it, it probably would be safer for you to ride up here. But anyways what are you doing here!?" She yelled pulling me into a hug. I had never considered Andrea and I to be that close but apparently she was a hugger regardless.

"Didn't Kian tell you?" I laughed as she released me from a tight embrace.

"Umm well," She paused looking down at the ground. "Kian and I aren't exactly speaking anymore, or exactly together."

"What!?" I shouted louder than I expected. I was shocked that YouTube's power couple had called it quits.

"Yeah, that's a whole other can of worms but yeah. I mean I still talk to some of the guys and Kian and I try to remain cool but there's still this awkward tension so I find it best to just leave him be." Andrea said smiling though looking in her eyes I could see nothing but sadness. "So when did you get back? I bet Jc is ecstatic!"

"Well it's kind of a long story but I can summarize. I was taken with the WPP and they used me as bait to catch this guy who was at the boys San Francisco tour date. They caught the guy, but afterwards I found out Jc had a new girlfriend. I just realized that I needed to take care of my own happiness instead of relying on him to be my happiness. So I left came down here to live with my Aunt. Haven't talked to Jc or any of his friends even until you right now." I stopped to catch my breath.

"Wow!" She looked surprised, "That's definitely some crazy stuff right there! But I do give you props for putting your happiness first. That's the way it should be, but most of the time it gets lost and forgotten."

"What are you doing down here?" I said confused at the fact that she lived almost a half an hour to forty minutes away from the small shopping center she was standing in front of now.
