Chapter 45

Agad kong itinulak yung ulo niya palayo sa tiyan ko at inirapan siya. "Sabi mo 'di ba hindi ka maglalandi?"

He chuckled and leans on the headboard. "Hindi pa 'ko naglalandi sa lagay na 'yon." He winked.

"Dumusog ka do'n." I commanded and gladly he did so. "What should we watch?" I asked as I browse over Netflix.

I can clearly see him from the side, staring at me.

"50 shades."

Napairap ako sa kawalan sa sagot niya.

I faced him and I almost gulped when I saw him playfully biting his lower lip. His lips are so red and looks so good to kiss- wait. What?

"You're very welcome to kiss me." He huskily said and ran his tongue over his lips.

I immediately looked away and closed my eyes. "I don't even know in the first place why I'm trying to talk to you with sense. Obviously kagaguhan isasagot mo." I glare at him.

He sighed, scooped nearer to me and smiled. "Let me..."

Hindi pa 'ko nakaka-get over sa bibig niya, lumapit na siya ng husto sa 'kin para magtype sa laptop. Amoy amoy ko yung pabango niya and I really got distracted by his neck.

"There." He said and smiled at me like a kid.

I turn to face the laptop and my eyes widen when I saw the movie that he picked.

"Really? Is that you Brile?"

He shrugged his shoulders. "I know you're not expecting that movie. Well... Breii loves and hates that movie at the same time." He weakly smiled. "He would always watch that and shed a tear after. Dinadamay pa 'ko kada nood niya parang tanga."

"Ano ba'ng meron diyan sa A Walk To Remember na 'yan?" I frowned.

"You don't know that? You love books. That movie was based from a book written by Nicholas Sparks which was inspired by real couples." He said, shock is visible.

"Well, hindi ko alam na may librong ganyan si Nicholas Sparks. And I know that movie, hindi ko lang nga pinanood ng buo noon dahil nabubwisit ako sa lalake. Like hell, he's a goon. He doesn't deserve the girl." Nainiis kong sabi.

I turned to look at him and I was surprised by his reaction.

Nakatitig lang siya sa 'kin na parang inosente. It's like, he is trying to understand and read me.

"You know what? Everyone is two-faced; we all have a bad and good side. Just like that 'goon', he's also an angel misjudged by people." He seriously said. "You really should have to watch that." He played the movie but I paused it.

"Fine. But why does it makes Breii cry? Nakikita ka niya doon sa lalake?"

My words made him laughing and I smiled with the thought that he's so sexy while he laughs.

"Hoy bakit nga?" I asked and slapped his arm.

He stopped laughing and leaned his back on the headboard. "The girl will die, because of leukemia. Surely you know Breii's story."

Napatango nalang ako at napaisip sa sinabi niya. "I really should watch this."

Iniayos ko yung laptop sa may lap ko pero napatigil ako nang kunin ni Brile yung laptop at hilain niya ko sa kanya saka ipinatong yung laptop sa legs niya.

He made me hug him, lean my head on his shoulder as he snakes his arm around me.

"Hmm, magaling ah? Kailangan talaga yakapin pa kita?" Sarcastic kong tanong at lalayo sana pero hinigpitan niya yung yakap sa 'kin at hinalikan ako sa noo.

"'Wag kang magulo. Yumakap ka nalang at baka hubaran na kita." He whispered that made me slap his chest and he just chuckled.

"Nakakainis ka talaga Brile." I rolled my eyes.

Kanina pa nagsimula yung movie and I should be concentrating. I love that girl's face and attitude.

"Brile?"

"Hmm?" He sweetly asked and kissed my forehead again. Hindi lang siguro siya nakasampo sa paghalik sa noo ko.

"Hindi ba pwedeng ilapit mo naman sa atin yung laptop?" I asked.

Paano ba naman kasi, nasa dulo na halos ng thighs niya yung laptop.

"Babe hindi pwede." He said and paused the movie.

Tinignan ko naman siya at agad nasalubong yung paningin niya.

"At bakit?" I asked.

Ayan na naman siya sa pagtitig niya. Why is there a need for him to be this handsome?

"The laptop may heat even more. If I'll bring it closer, I may turn barren. You wouldn't love to have a husband who's incapable of making you pregnant. I'm just thinking about you." He dramatically said and even hugged me tighter.

Itinulak ko nalang siya at ini-play ang panood.

I concentrated on the movie though Brile kept on kissing me. After that, I silently thank him for making me watch the movie. It's so tragic and I was thinking about Breii that whole time.

"Tapos na yung panood Brile. Pwede mo na ba 'kong bitiwan?" Mataray kong tanong dahil hanggang ngayon, nakayakap pa rin si Brile at humahalik halik.

He's so clingy... and... basta.

"Let's stay like this. Bukas parang hindi mo na naman ako kilala." He whispered. "Why don't you just tell Zaine to stop on trying to get you?"

I sighed. "Brile I feel guilty about Zaine. I think he knows something. I know he is hurting."

"Eh ano ngayon kung may alam siya? He's not your boyfriend."

"Neither you."

Lumuwang agad yung yakap niya sa 'kin nang sagutin ko siya. He stared at me with his brows furrowed and was rolling his eyes.

"I know you like it better when you're with me." He sharply said. "I won't let Zaine get into you."

Sinubukan kong humiwalay sa kanya pero mas hinigpitan lang niya ulit ang hawak sa 'kin at mukhang gising na naman ang Brile na ayokong makasama.

"Brile, Zaine is a good guy. Pero bakit parang ang init ng ulo mo sa kanya?" I relaxed my head on his chest since he's not letting me go.

"I don't actually have anything to say about him until he started liking you. You can't blame me to be rude to him." He answered with his rude voice as he hugs me even more.

"So nagseselos ka? O natatakot ka?"

"Pwede both?"

Agad akong natawa sa bilis ng sagot niya.

"Now what's funny?"

I shook my head. "You're really straight-forward."

"That's your way of saying I'm rude?" He said and I felt his kiss on my head again.

"Maybe." I sighed. "Brile? Bakit nga ang rude mo kay Breii? Harsh na rin."

"I'm rude to everyone."

Agad ko siyang tinignan at pumantay ng higa sa kanya. "No. Hindi ka raw dating ganyan."

I stare at him as I await, he stared back but soon looked away and pulled me for hug again.

"Actually yes. We were so close before. But I hated myself when I distanced myself from him just because of Hyacinth. Ang babaw I know. Hanggang sa nasanay nalang din akong ganito sa kanya." He seriously answered.

"Ah. So? Nagselos ka kay Hyacinth?"

I felt his nod. "Yeah. Si Breii lang kasi yung umiintindi sa 'kin. Tapos biglang kinalimutan ako dahil kay Aya. Then after her death, nag-aral pa siya sa ibang bansa. It felt like the only person who likes me abandoned me."

Surely umiikot na naman ang mga mata niya.

"Did you ever love a girl?" I asked suddenly.

I know out of the blue 'yon. But I'm curious.

"Aside from my mom and relatives? I never did... until you."
