Kongpob and Arthit went down the stairs slowly, despite the fact that they had arrived fifteen minutes late.

The boys, in addition to ... ejem ... having been delayed a bit in the bedroom, they had been enjoying the beautiful views and the spacious rooms that characterized the palace.

"No doubt it has changed a lot ...", Kongpob told himself as he looked at the columns and the beautiful decorations in the hall that led to the dining room, "Especially if you compare it with how it was a thousand years ago ..."

The young man still remembered the stone walls and heavy curtains that had covered many entrances but, above all, innumerable secrets of the Court.

A Court corrupted and obsessed with living eternally.

"And to think that this place could look like this now ..."

Kongpob sighed, thinking that, once again, he had an arduous job ahead of him

Kongpob sighed, thinking that, once again, he had an arduous job ahead of him. Especially now that Arthit was at his side.

Because, How was he going to investigate the castle while having his husband by his side?

Kongpob didn't know... yet.

But he really needed to think of something... and soon as, that same night, he had to start with the Search.

Kongpob sighted as, just thinking about it, he was beginning to feel a strong headache  in his temples ...

- "I can not believe it has taken so much time for both of you to come here ..." - Knott said as soon as he saw them enter the  dinning room - "really, I was going to go out and look for you already".

Arthit, who had just sat down in front of him, looked up from his plate and to his brother's face.

- "We have been visiting some of the rooms on the second floor, they are impressive ..."

Knott let out a slight contemptuous sound.

- "I can imagine what you have been doing in those rooms" - commented the young man ironically - "and it is not exactly revising them ..."

Beside him, New nudged him in his side.

The young man, who had noticed the flush on his brother's face, looked at his husband with a slight expression of anger on his face.

- "I remind you that not everyone is like you ... We have arrived less than five minutes ago and not precisely because we have been seeing the castle ... in fact, we have not even left our room even for a minute since we arrived".

Arthit opened his eyes completely to immediately laugh, while tapping the table with the palm of his hand.

Kong, however, smiled slightly at his brother as he shot him a grateful look.

Newwie, noticing Kong's gaze, nodded quietly and ignored his husband's hurt look

Newwie, noticing Kong's gaze, nodded quietly and ignored his husband's hurt look.

"I'm sorry Knott ..." thought New, "but my little brother comes first"

----------------------------

Meanwhile, inside one of the portraits of the room, a pair of sad eyes watched the four young people dine while laughing happily.

- "I'm so sorry Krist ..." - Forth murmured with a thin voice as he let a tear slip down his cheek - "I never wanted this to happen ... I never thought that the spell could cause all this."

The young ghost, with a sad expression on his face, looked away from Arthit's happy face to finally disappear from the painting.

A few seconds later he was in a crypt and next to a beautiful grave for two people ... a tomb that had a single empty space.

In the occupied part however, some beautiful phrases could still be read on the gray marble.

"For my eternal love,

Rest until the moment we can be together again

Krist "
