EPILOGUE

TWO MONTHS LATER...

Arthit smiled as he watched Kong run to the vehicle that his parents had just parked in front of the main entrance of the Palace.

Inside the car, four adults and a small girl smiled happily. 

Especially Mara who, with outstretched arms, babbled without looking away from the young man who, at that moment, was jumping the last steps of the staircase to go near the car.

A few minutes later he embraced Mara as she laughed happily at being in her daddy's arms again.

- "I'm glad that everything ended well" - said a voice from the other end of the room.

Arthit turned to the place from which the voice had come to look curiously at the young ghost who, smiling slightly, waved at him with one hand.

- "I have come to say goodbye ... and to apologize for the last time".

Arthit smiled slightly to finally shake his head.

- "It's already forgotten" - he said - "although I expected for you to have learned the lesson better than that".

Forth looked at the young man with an astonished expression.

A couple of minutes later, he began to laugh unconcernedly.

- "Each and every one of your lives ..."

Arthit nodded while smiling broadly.

- "Without a doubt Mother Moon has been kind to us ..." - he commented while taking a few steps toward the center of the room - "and you will see that she will also be kind to you ... maybe in your next life you will finally find your other half".

Forth smiled and, after nodding with his head in acknowledgment, began to fade slightly.

- "Thank you for forgiving me" - he said with a thin voice - "I just hope that if we meet again, we can be friends, great friends ... and please, say goodbye to Kong. I will miss him."

Arthit nodded, watching the young man disappear completely.

- "Good luck, Forth. I wish you well"

- "Did you say something?" - asked Kongpob who, being followed by their parents, was entering at that moment through the door of the Palace.

Arthit shook his head as he approached Mara and took her in his arms to give a brief kiss on her forehead.

- "Nothing important. I'll tell you later ..." - he said and, turning to his parents, he smiled as he waved with the only hand that he had free - "Welcome to the Imperial Hotel...."
