I was stunned to see how elegant our hotel was. The suite was so much bigger than my apartment at home and I loved the modern decor. "Shannon, this place is amazing. Oh my God!" I looked past him, out to the hot tub on our own private balcony. "I'm getting in, you coming?"

He grinned as he shook his head, watching me rush over to get a closer look. "Babe, I don't even think you packed a swim suit, besides, I made plans." I heard him say as I moved to stand in front of the impressive fireplace with him. His fingers slipped into the waistband of my jeans and he gave a gentle tug.

Grinning, my arms locked around his neck as I felt his big, strong hands moving up my back. "How does a nice quiet candlelight dinner for two out on that balcony sound? I even ordered that pink champagne you love so much. We can certainly get in the hot tub afterwards if that's what you want to do."

"I think that sounds perfect, you're so thoughtful." I ran my fingers through his hair and stared into his handsome face. "You always manage to remember every single detail, Shannon."

All of a sudden his expression was serious, no smile. "Are you in love with me Carrie? Like, really in love with me?"

Frowning, I traced his bottom lip with my finger, fighting the urge to kiss him. His lip felt slightly chapped under my feathery touch. "Am I in love with you?" I repeated his question, staring hard at those soft, full lips. God. I didn't even realize I had such a painful fixation with them until now. "Baby, I'm so in love with you, with both of you. I was just feeling uncomfortable about what happened in New York and needed a little time to process all of it, but I could never stay away from either of you for long." I grinned and locked eyes with him. "Shannon, don't ever think that you have to ask for my affection, because you don't. I love you. That's what you wanted, right?"

"That's exactly what I wanted to hear. I love you Carrie." Both of us jumped at the loud knock on the door and he pulled away from me to answer it. I stepped into what appeared to be the fanciest kitchen I'd ever seen while I heard Shannon speaking to the person delivering food. I continued to poke around, giving myself a tour of this enormous suite we had for the weekend. I walked up the stairs to explore the bedroom, not really surprised at how perfect everything was. This place must have cost an awful lot and I wondered how many women he had taken here before me. I shoved the jealous thoughts from my mind, feeling silly for even thinking it, since here I was in love with two men.

Kicking my heels off, I crawled onto the king size bed and stared up at the mirrored ceiling. "Wow," I said, lying on my back and staring at my reflection.

"Well, I see you've found the bedroom. Comfy?" He asked, leaning against the door frame with his hands in his pockets.

"You have no idea," I stared straight up at the mirror, focusing on him walking closer. He kneeled onto the bed and crawled over me, forcing my legs apart and resting himself to where his face was just above my belly. He pushed up the fabric of the blouse I was wearing and I could feel little sparks of static dancing on my skin. He leaned his head down and gave a tender kiss to my abdomen before moving himself up further.

"You're so beautiful." His lips gently brushed mine before he pulled my bottom lip into his mouth with his teeth, leading us into a passionate kiss. Opening my eyes, I stared up at the ceiling and moaned into the kiss, watching as his hand roamed over my skin, under my top and over my lacy bra. It wasn't until his calloused fingers slipped along the pink fabric, dragging it down enough so that he could slide his palm over my hardened nipple. He quickly replaced it with his tongue, swirling around it and actually earning himself a whimper. Sliding both of his palms against mine, he forced my hands flat against the bed next to my head as he gently bit down. Things were heating up so fast and I wanted him, but as usual, Shannon was going to make me wait for it. "As much as I would love to have a little fun with you right now, our food is going to get cold." Just like that, he adjusted my bra and blouse before delivering a last kiss to my lips. It took him less than two minutes to make me almost desperate with need. He stood and held out his hand, smirking at what he had just accomplished.

"You're proud of yourself, aren't you?" He knew that I knew he did it on purpose, but still he denied it.

"I have no idea what you're talking about."

"You're a terrible liar, Shannon." I joked as he helped me up and watched me step back into my black heels. He then followed me down the stairs. There was a cart set up on the balcony with candles and it was beautiful and romantic. "A very sweet, and loving liar."

Over dinner, he told me about the couples massage he booked for the next day and a special surprise on Sunday. As much as I begged him to tell me what it was, he refused. So far, so good, no talk of skiing, even though that's what we were supposed to be there for. I just hoped that wasn't his big surprise. This little escape was exactly what I needed and I could always count on Shannon to make me feel better. His intuitiveness was one of my favorite qualities.
