Does anyone ever have a recap of their life? I for one do. It gives me a direction to follow.

So... the script. Rehearsals have been great and everyone is doing their best. We only have two months left! We are currently at a sure win!

Dale, well, he's the same old "can't-take-a-hint" kind of guy. We're barely friends but maybe its better that way... or maybe it's not.

Kelsie on the other hand is working fast. She constantly meets up and talks to Chris.
But she's Kelsie... a very likeable, talented girl. Her skills are also improving the journalism club. She's really good at finding out what's happening where, who did it and why. I can't wait to watch her on the weekly news on Wednesdays!

Moving on... Lindsey's dog just gave birth to six puppies. That dog needs a vacation to Poland; they have nice resorts.

Lindsey will be leaving for Egypt in two months so that means I'm getting merchandise from Egypt!
Hurray to friendship!

Also... I terribly miss my mom. She went back to Kenya two months after we moved in and she decided to overstay; how unfair! She says she'll be back soon. I love you mom!

I wanted to give Lindsey a present before she went to Egypt, in seven weeks.
Thing is, I didn't know what to get her.

"I think you should get her a lifetime supply of dog food." Tamara told me during rehearsals, "She definitely needs that." We both laughed.

"Get serious. I need something long lasting. Something she wont forget."

"You mean like the thing in your locker?" Chris interrupted unceremoniously. I chose to ignore him because that made no sense at all.

"What is that supposed to mean?" Tamara asked me after Chris left.

"I have no freaking idea!" I said.

"I don't like Chris one bit. And to think he is going out with Kelsie,"

"Kelsie... oh your best friend?" Tamara asked.

"N actually yeah, my best friend. But it's not an official relationship, they're both too scared to admit they have feelings for each other." I said

"Doctor love I see. Have you been in love before?"

"Me? No... love and I... total strangers." I lied big time.

"What about you?"

"I have. In fact I just broke up with the guy a week ago."

"I'm so sorry. Are you okay?"

"Yes I am. Actually better than I ever was. Boys are just a waste of time. You know what, don't fall in love anytime soon." Tamara was a little too late with that advice. That ship had sailed.

"I totally agree!"

Just then Mr. Paisely walked in.
"I'm sorry I'm late. Traffic... what can you do?" He said looking at us obviously not expecting an answer.

The good news was that we were done memorizing our lines and we had rehearsed all the scenes severally so there was nothing to worry about.

After rehearsals I noticed Chris and Dale were in a serious discussion on something.

"Beats me." I thought to myself.

KELSIE'S POV

"Kelsie!" My mum called out, "You'll be late for school!"

"I'll be there in a minute!" I said packing my school stuff.

I found her watching the Khloe Starks show, "You never get enough of it mom, do you?" I asked serving myself some pancakes.

"I have to see myself from all angles. Everything has to be done to perfection or my name isn't Khloe Starks. Having breakfast in the car again?"

"It's the last time I promise." I said rushing out before she could stop me, "Bye! Love you!" I got into my car and drove as fast as I could, well, after I passed by Sera coffee house to get some hot chocolate for myself. I did this every single day after I left home because my mum didn't allow me to take any milk after I had an anaphylactic shock that almost killed me when I was seven.

My mum still has nightmares of the incident; so she claims.

I drank my hot chocolate as I sped up past other cars. I loved doing this with an impression of a formula one racer who's almost at the finish line.

I parked my car outside the school as usual. Before I went in, I switched on my phone and I saw Chris' missed calls.

Chris and I were friends; I'd call it that for now. He was funny, sweet and he was in the football team.
Do I have to add on to that?

I locked my car, threw my now empty hot chocolate cup and entered the school compound.

"Kelsie, hey!!" Chris called out.

"Hi there," I said pretending to be going through my weekly journalism report which I was supposed to submit that morning.

"Did you get my call? I called you last night."

"I'm sorry, I've been very busy lately with journalism stuff,"

"Oh... okay. I'll see you later today then?"

"It's a plan!" I said walking away.
And that is how you gain a guys interest; by not showing too much interest yourself... plain old reverse psychology.

I walked to the editor's office to show him my work. Hopefully someday I'll be the one in that office; or maybe the weekly news anchor! How we love to dream!

"You can have a look at this," I began.
"I think it's important for people to beware. We need to start living healthy by working out, eating fruits and going for frequent medical check ups. With that you would have prevented all these chronic diseases," I said showing him a list, "It starts gradually and with time and ..."

"BOOM!!"
