Dozens of patients, hundreds of assessments and mountains of paper work later...
Rubbing her eyes, Georgie shoved the remaining medical supplies into the overhead cupboards and crammed everything back into her bergen. Then, she bent down and pulled a new paper sheet from the cabinet and ripped the old one off of the medical bed. As she prepared to lock up for the day.
All of a sudden, hundreds of loose coins sprayed all over the floor as a small black wallet tumbled off the bed like a boulder down a mountain. Sighing, Georgie crawled under the bed and shuffled the furniture around to retrieve the pennies, whacking her head on the way down.
She gently unclasped the magnetic button that was holding the wallet shut and slipped the coins back into the side pocket, hoping to find some identification inside as to who it belonged to.
Instead, Elvis' playful face pictured in a passport sized photo glared back at her. The photo was safety guarded in a thin sheet of plastic that had preserved the colouring and kept it in good condition.
This caused Georgie to speculate about who the owner of the wallet was. Selecting a credit card, the light glinted off the official holograms as she noticed Bobby's name engraved across the front - confirming her suspicions.

Bobby was sat quietly in his office, swarmed by piles of paperwork when Georgie gave a firm knock on the door.
"Come in!"
He cocked his head to see through the stacks of paper standing on his desk. He just about saw Georgie step forward and salute him as he swivelled his chair to one side so he had a clearer view.
"Sorry to disturb you, Captain. I believe this is yours." He leant forward, taking the wallet from her hands and examining it himself.
"What made you think that?" He shook his head, before quickly tapping his pocket. Only then did he realise that it was his.
"The photo inside." Georgie admitted sorrowfully.
"Did you know him?" Bobby swallowed hard. They both noticed the tears building up in each other's eyes.
"Elvis was my fiancé, Captain." Georgie bowed her head and began to fiddle with the new wedding ring that adorned her finger.
Bobby leaned back in his chair and narrowed his eyes in disbelief. He thought long and hard for a moment whilst stroking the few hairs that were poking through the surface of his chin.
"Georgie Lane?" He questioned as the name came to mind.
A sudden lump appeared in Georgie's throat that wasn't there before. At first she didn't even recognise her own maiden name.
"Yes, I recently got married though. I'm now Georgie McClyde." She corrected. Just the thought of Alex shifted her mood as she looked at her watch - he would be finishing work soon.
Bobby nodded slowly as everything clicked into place.
"Excuse my ignorance, Georgie. I didn't recognise you. I was always deployed overseas but I knew of you..."
He paused.
"Elvis would speak of you all the time."
Georgie tried to smile to stop herself from crying at the mere thought of Elvis speaking fondly of her to his family. She still couldn't believe how alike Bobby and Elvis were; they shared the same mannerisms and some of Bobby's facial expressions sent shivers down her spine, reminding her of the faces Elvis used to pull.
