The time was only a little past noon, yet Abella had already managed to feel completely exhausted. Joey had asked her to help him plan out the entire wedding and since she was due to start college in a few days. Her nerves were practically eating her away and she couldn't deny the lump that formed in her throat whenever she thought of starting her first day of college alone.

Originally, Abella's plans were to have Alex by her side and support her through her first week at school. It's not that Abella needed the support, she just felt more relaxed knowing that she had someone to come back home to after a long day at school.

Of course, the circumstances had changed and Abella was sure she couldn't count on Alex for anything anymore. It hurt knowing that Alex didn't even bother trying to contact her again. Even though she was the one who said she never wanted to see him again, she still felt love for him. But after going almost two weeks without any new messages or missed calls, Abella knew that things between her and Alex Gaskarth were officially over.

That was a good thing, right? Abella thought that their break up was something good for the both of them. Her love for Alex was so strong that the co-dependency between them was practically dangerous. She'd seen all the Supernatural episodes, she knew how bad things could get when two people were so dependent of each other. A separation was good for the two of them, just like it had been for Sam and Dean.

'But they always found a way back to each other in the end.' Her subconscious reminded her, causing Abella to groan loudly. She leaned forward, her elbows rested against the surface of the table and her fingertips pressed against her temples. All the stress from helping Joey plan his 'perfect wedding', editing three different manuscripts at work, preparing for college and dealing with Valeria's crap was too much for Abella to handle.

Tears brimmed her eyes and Abella let out a soft whimper. She raked her fingers through her hair, untangling the small knots that had formed due to being in a pony tail for an entire night and morning. Abella didn't feel like taking a shower or even combing her hair. Lately, it seemed like she had so much to do, but she didn't want to do anything anymore.

She was tired of it all.

Her heart continued to ache for Alex, but she wasn't going to let herself give in to her needs. She wanted to be strong- no, she needed to be strong. She couldn't let Alex (or anyone for that matter) know how much the break up really affected her. Not even Jeffrey himself understood how much the break up had devastated Abella. It scared her how much one person could mean so much to her, how much her heart hurt knowing that Alex was no longer with her.

Abella pushed the chair back and stood up, letting out another chocked sob. She tried walking into the living room, but the pain was becoming too much for her weak body to handle. Soon enough, her knees gave out underneath her and she collapsed on the kitchen floor, tears streamed down her face as she let out another line of whimpers and sobs.

She was letting it all out; the pain, the sorrow, the heartache. She was finally letting her walls crumble and letting everything fall free because she was done. She was done with trying to feel strong, trying to convince people that she wasn't affected from the break up.
