The day began like every other day had begun that week. Alex woke up in his girlfriend's bed, both of them usually lacking clothes. He always woke up before her, seeing as he needed to be at work an hour before her. Ever since the couple reunited, they had spent almost every waking moment together. Alex didn't know if this was a good or bad thing, but he really didn't give a shit because he loved spending time with Abella.

Since they decided to forgive each other nearly two weeks ago, the couple had spent the last fourteen days making up for 'lost time' between the sheets. Abella didn't mind spending hours in her bed with Alex hovering over her, and Alex was more than happy to fulfill the pleasures of his girlfriend. He loved every second he spent with her, but he absolutely cherished the moments when she was lying completely bare underneath him--nothing but the soft pants and moans of his name leaving her cherry red lips.

Alex forced his thoughts away, not wanting to be late for work again. He had been late for work multiple times due to his 'friend' becoming too eager when he woke up. Alex was almost certain that if it wasn't for the fact that he was good friends with Candice, he would have been fired long ago.

Abella moaned quietly, shifting over the cool mattress in attempt to gain a more comfortable position. Alex sat on the edge of the bed, pulling on his black boxers. He looked behind him, groaning once he saw the white blanket had slid down Abella's bare back. He used every fiber in his body to hold back from waking her up and fucking her senselessly as he had done the previous night.

She needed rest, and he needed to be at work on time.

Alex stood up, grabbing a new change of clothes from the bag he had brought over. Riley was still staying at his place, but only because she was waiting for the papers to go through for her apartment. She had suggested that Alex should just move in with Abella, seeing as he spent most of his nights and free time with her.

Alex considered this multiple times over the last month. The thought of waking up and coming home to Abella did sound incredibly tempting, but he couldn't bring himself to ask her that simple question. Their relationship had already moved incredibly quickly, he didn't want to put any pressure on her or force her to do something that she wasn't comfortable with. He figured that they would move in together with time, when they were both completely ready.

Pulling on a dark red beanie, Alex slipped on his black boots and walked toward Abella's side of the bed. He leaned forward, smiling softly when he noticed her eyes opening. She yawned quietly, pulling up the blanket to cover her naked body. Alex chuckled, but made no comment. He still was clueless as to why she insisted on covering herself around him, despite the fact that he saw her naked almost every night.

"Good morning," he smiled, placing one hand to her cheek. He began to lean forward for a kiss, but Abella turned her head away. "What's wrong?" He frowned, hurt by her rejection.

Abella's face turned a light shade of pink and she slowly pulled the blanket to cover the lower half of her face, embarrassment flooded through her. She looked up at Alex, forcing her eyes to meet his.

"Morning breath." She mumbled, blushing even more once she realized how ridiculous she sounded.

Laughing quietly, Alex rolled his eyes and pulled the blanket down. He pressed a kiss to her cheek, smirking at her flustered expression. "After all this time," he began, his lips centimeters away from hers. "do you really think I give a shit about morning breath?" Before she had time to respond, Alex placed his hand on the back of her head and pressed their lips together, grinning through the sweet kiss.
