tw: FLUFF

✧✧✧

It's been two weeks since he had seen Michael last and Luke was losing his mind.

It was even worse than before, before Luke knew Michael liked him too. When he'd have to force himself to stop looking at his perfect pale skin when Luke had to close his eyes whenever Michael smiled because he looked too beautiful.

Before he kissed Michael, he sometimes dreamed about him now he dreamed about him all the time. When he closed his eyes, Michael was there and it was a problem. Luke was never in love before, he was attracted to guys but only used them for pleasure. It probably had to do with being afraid of getting hurt.

Now that he was in love, he wasn't afraid of that. Michael treated him well.

He always texted Luke first. Always replied. Called and sent cute snaps of his day.

Luke was afraid of getting too attached. Becoming too clingy.

Still, he was happy when they returned a day before so he could surprise him. Luke texted his lover boy to see what he was up to and apparently, he just got home from a road trip with his uncle.

His dad didn't ask any questions when his youngest son asked to be dropped in front of Michael's house when the got back to the city. They all kind of guessed they were a thing since Luke couldn't stop smiling at his phone.

Luke wasn't sure if Michael asked his uncle for permission when he gave Luke the code for their door but he wasn't complaining. He did always get a rush of adrenaline whenever the doors did open and he had to cross the garden to get to Michael's trailer. Like he knew there were cameras everywhere but it's different than getting caught in the act.

He knocked but got no response.

It'd be really, really bad if Michael wasn't there.

"Mikey?" Luke called and decided on knocking one more time before calling him.

Before his knuckles touched the metal door for the second time Michael already opened it and pulled Luke in.

As much as he missed the older boy, this was worth waiting for.

Michael kissed him with so much passion Luke was sure he'll pass out.

His scent, his warmth, the way he kissed him, the way Michael pressed Luke as close to him as possible made him dizzy. It probably had to do with the lack of oxygen in his veins but for once in his life, Luke decided he'd go with the romantic and not the rational answer.

"What are you doing here?" Michael whispered. He had the biggest smile on his face though Luke was so close to him he could barely see it.

"Wanted to surprise you." Luke rubbed their noses together. It was cute and cute thing usually made Luke uneasy but not right now.

Michael seemed to enjoy it as much as he did.

"I love surprises."

Luke laughed. "I thought you hated them."

Fondly, the older boy rolled his eyes. "You're almost making it hard for me to like you."

"Oh really?"

"No." Michael laughed and kissed Luke again before he could start talking nonsense again. "You're perfect." He whispered and Luke wasn't sure if this was still one of his dreams or not.

They somehow made it to bed. Michael licked Luke's lip on purpose and the second his lips parted he kissed him properly. Luke didn't mind being overpowered. Michael's tongue against his felt amazing and he'd ask him where he learned to kiss like that if he wanted to know the answer.

But he didn't.

Michael took his breath away. Literally.

They were both a mess when he finally rolled off Luke but the younger boy quickly turned so, he was half on top of Michael.

There was snow outside, his jacket was somewhere on the floor but Michael was warm. Michael's trailer was well protected against the cold but Luke felt like he needed the extra warmth.

"How was your Holiday?" Michael asked.

Luke opened his eyes. They were quiet for a while and Michael had his hand in Luke's curls making him even sleepier.

"We literally talked all the time." Luke giggled and looked up.

Michael smiled and pouted his lips so Luke could kiss him. "I know. But you told me about your daily activities, not about the overall vibe."

He pecked his lips against before answering. "It was really nice. The city is decorated much better than here, also the ice rink is bigger and they have better mulled wine. It was really nice seeing my grandparents."

"It sounds like you had fun."

Luke nodded. "But I missed you."

"Well, if you'd kiss me sooner." Michael laughed. "You wouldn't have to leave the next day."

"There's a flaw in your theory." Luke disagreed. "Because I'd miss you even more."

Michael pulled his computer on the bed and turned on a movie they didn't really watch.

"Michael?"

"Yeah?"

Michael's looked at Luke expectantly.

"Will you go on a date with me?"

It was a simple question. It made them both smile so Luke expected a simple answer. But Michael wasn't a simple guy.

"On one condition."

Luke frowned. Did Michael want to keep them a secret?

The older boy traced his finger over Luke's cheek. "If you'll be my boyfriend?"
