Mint's POV

I'm here in Daddy Adam's Condo. Dito muna ako pinatuloy ni Mommy. I don't know what my Mom's up to pagkalabas namin ng hospital. I still taking regularly my medicine since tutok na tutok sa akin si Mommy sa pag-inom ko ng mga gamot.

She's been over protecting me this past few weeks. Kahit papuntahin nya ako sa bahay ni Daddy Drei ay ayaw nya, gusto ko lang naman kunin ang mga gamit ko dun but she insist na sya na lang daw ang kukuha para sa akin. I know Mom's hiding something to me but i don't want to force her.

It's been two weeks since i left our house and school. Mom already talked to the Principal to excuse me in the class. And it's been two weeks since i last saw my Dad, Cindy, and Josh. I loathe them!

I was busy combing my hair when i hear the doorknob click. I saw my Daddy Adam enter my room.

"Hey, princess!" He greeted me.

"Hey, Dad!" I greeted back and smile at him.

He sat on the edge of my bed and look at me with a serious face.

"Princess, i'm still disappointed that you didn't trust me to know your health condition. You know that you're my only princess and i love you at higit sa lahat ay ayaw kong nasasaktan ka." He said sincerely.

Napayuko naman ako and i feel guilty.

"I'm really sorry Dad if i hesitate to tell you the truth. It just that i don't want you to worried about me." I said in a low voice.

I feel my Dad's warm hug. He comfort me and kiss my forehead. Ito ang isa sa mga gusto kong maramdaman in those lonely years. Ang yakap ng isang ama. A hug of a father that Daddy Drei didn't do for me even in just a second. I just don't know if it's right na tawagin ko pa rin syang Daddy even though he didn't become one to me.

"You're my daughter even if you're not my flesh and blood. It doesn't matter as long as in my heart you are..." He said and caress my cheeks.

I saw my mom enter my room with a shopping bag on her hands.

"Hey sweetie! I bought you a dresses since you're going back to school on monday." She said and put those shopping bags on my bed.

"Am i?" I ask.

"Yes, sweetie." Mom said.

"But Mom, i-i'm not yet ready. Di ko alam kung paano ako haharap sa kanila after what happened." Kinakabahan kong saad.

My mom walk to my direction at hinawakan nya ang magkabila kong balikat.

"Sweetie, just relax. Normal lang na kabahan ka, nasa first list ka pa lang naman. Marami ka pang mapagdadaanan and this is for your own good so trust Mommy, okay?" She said.

I just sigh and slowly nod my head. She hugs me and i hug her back.

"Don't worry sweetie, everything will be alright. You can get through with this, i believe in you." She said and kiss my temple.

"Thanks Mom. I don't know what to do if you're not here Mom." I said.

"Ahm... Mom, how are you and Dad?" I ask.

"Wag mo nang alalahanin yan, Mint. As i said everything's alright. Mabuti pa't magpahinga ka na para bukas." She said and she left my room.
