(Scarlette's POV)
"What was that, Lily?" Nico asks and I shake my head.
"I don't know." I say confused.
"You know him?" Nico asks again.
"Yeah."
"But why were you at his place?"
"I'm his tutor." I try to convince him.
"Oh but-"
"Anyway, let's go, right?" I cut him off before he continues to ask his questions.
"Oh okay." he says.
"See you guys later." Liam waves at us and leaves.
We walk outside and I'm still curious about this whole box thing. I wonder what is in it? I really want to go home now.
"Nico, what will you like to eat for dinner?""I don't know." he says.
"How about I buy us dinner?" I suggest.
"Okay, sounds good."
"Okay, my mother gave you money, right?"
"Yeah, here." he says handing me some notes.

After we reach home, I head upstairs to take a bath. I bought us some lasagna which I kept in the kitchen. I bath very quickly and change into my casual clothes and open my bag to remove the box. I'm very impatient and a bit nervous. This box doesn't even belong to me. I open it and I can't describe my emotions. As if the world was playing a trick on me. I'm stunned and words cannot describe how i'm feeling right now. I don't even know if I should be crying or happy. I don't know if this had passed over my expectations. Like, I'm speechless. Am I dreaming? Should I have expected these kind of things from him? Was he playing with me? Questions fill my head as I try to proceed everything. I try to remain calm. I keep the box on my table and start doing my homework.
Some hour later, my phone beeps.
Text Message From Unknown Number
I open the message and read,
Unknown Number: Did you like it?
It's just too much. This boy doesn't seem to stop this attitude. He is such a spoiled brat. I don't find the need to reply him so I just put my phone aside and head downstairs where I find Nico sitting on the couch.
"Hey." I say
"Oh hey, Lily." he smiles.
"What's up?" I say
"Nothing much, what about you?"
"Was just gonna grab some brownies. Want some?" I ask.
"Sure." he smiles.
"Follow me." I say walking towards the kitchen and he follows.
"Here." I hand him some brownies.
"Thank you." he smiles.
"So, how are you liking it here?" I ask curiously.
"Well, it's quite different from our native country but it's nice here." he says.
"I'm glad. By the way how were your classes? Have you made any more friends yet?" I ask.
"Yeah, I kind of made some friends, there was this girl that got along very well with me and two more boys." he says.
"Oh really? Do I know them?" I ask.
"The girl's name is Jessica and the boys' names are Max and Zac."
However, what caught my attention was no one than his name. Even though, hearing Jessica's name rang a bell, it didn't matter to me. I was astonished to hear that he made friends with Zac. Was it the Zac that I was thinking?
"Zac who?"
"The guy from the English class."
Did I hear well? Was I hallucinating? How on earth did they become friends? The last time I saw them, Zac was unwilling to handshake him. Was he lying? I don't know what to think after he gave me that 'box.'
"Okay, anyway let's have dinner."
