"How are you?" Liam asks, while sipping on his coffee.
"A lot has been going on lately." I take a deep breath.
"What happened?" He ask. We are currently in the Cafe Lux, we came here after class. It's already 5 p.m.
"It's about my mother." I say. "She's been calling me since yesterday." I say.
"Well, didn't you answer?" Liam asks and I shake my head.
"I'm afraid of what she will say." I reply.
"Scarlette, how long will you run away?" Liam asks.
"I'm so scared." I say.
"I know, but you should face her." Liam says and I think for a while.
"Maybe , you are right. I'll call her." I say, mustering a courage.
"Yeah, call her when you get home." Liam says and I nod. "How is it going on with Zac now?" Liam asks. I told him about Zac lying to me.
"Well, the last thing he said was that, I will hate him soon. After that we barely talked. He always comes home late. So we don't really talk." I say with a big frown.
"Hmm.." Liam says.
"I know he is lying a lot to me." I say, hurt. "Even you aren't telling me anything." I frown and after about ten minutes Liam breaks the silence
"My sister was dating Zac." Liam says and my eyes open wide as I gasp.
"Really?" I say, shocked.
"Yeah. She really loved him." He says as he clenches his fists.
"What happened then?" I ask, my mind running with full of questions.
"She-" he gets cut off as a familiar voice interrupts us.
"I was looking for you everywhere." he says with an annoyed voice, as he looks coldly at Liam.
"Oh hey, Zac." I say. Liam clenches his jaw as he says,
"I'll get going. See you later." he leaves.
"Why were you with him??" he asks.
"Why not?" I ask.
"I don't like you staying with other males." he says with an annoyed voice as he takes a seat next to me.
"He's just my friend." I try to defend.
"Since, you're dating me, I don't approve this." he states.
"What? Are you serious?" I ask, angrily.
"Yes." He says.
"Well, I'm sorry but I won't cut ties with him just because of your possessiveness." I state angrily as I'm about to leave.
"Come with me." he says as he grabs my hand and taking me out of the Cafe shop.
"LET GO OF MY HAND" I exclaim but he doesn't listen as he takes me on his bike to I don't know where.
"Where are we going???" I ask angrily but he doesn't responds.
Soon we reach at a familiar place. It's in the forest. "Let's go." he says as he walks towards a small path.
"I'm not going!" I say.
"Alright." he says as he takes me on his shoulders and he stars walking.
"You! Let go of me you jerk!" I exclaim as I continuously tap on his shoulders.
"Stay still." he says as he keeps walking.
"No, let go of me!!" I exclaim angrily but he just ignores me and soon we reach near the waterful where the calm water is flowing. He takes me inside a kiosk and I look around to find two plates beautifully covered, two glass of champagne beautifully arranged and a small bouquet of flower kept on a small round table with a white napkin. Two chairs are placed opposite to each other.
He finally places me down and he gestures me to take a seat.
"Wow, is that for me?" I ask, as I immediately feel fascinated.
"What do you think?" he asks, sarcastically.
"It's amazing." I exclaim in wow, ignoring his sarcasticness.
"Happy 2 months of anniversary." he says as he hands me the bouquet of flower.
Oh my god.
"You remembered?" I ask while smelling the fresh flowers.
"Of course." He says as he kisses my hand.
"This is so beautiful, thank you." I smile as I stand up to hug him.
"You're welcomed." he says, hugging me back. "Now, lets eat before the food gets cold." he says.
How can I hate him now?? I ask myself.
