Today is finally the big game. It will be starting at 3 o' clock. I'm currently at home, enjoying my pancake, alone, well not exactly alone. I'm facetiming Margarette.
"Yeah, I don't know what to do." I say.
"Well, sweety. Tell him how you feel." Margarette says referring to Nico.
"Yeah. But it's so awkward." I say.
"Go, talk to him. Anyways I have to meet with your dad. Talk to you later honey. Love you."
"Love you too." I hang up and I finally muster the courage to text Nico back. He left me several messages.
Me: Hey.
Nico: Oh hey. Did you make up your mind?
Me: Yes. What time to meet?
Nico: At 10, in the Café.
Me: Okay, see you there.
He asked me to give him one last chance to explain things so I finally agreed and now we're meeting in half an hour. I make my way into my room and I change into a black outfit. Black croptop and black pants, with white tennis.

"Hey, thanks for coming." Nico says. We are already at the Café. He is well dressed but still nothing compared to Zac. Now that I think about it, Zac always wear the same type of outfit.
"Hey? Are you listening?" Nico says,
"Ah yes, sorry." I apologise.
"So.. I finally moved out of your house." Nico says.
"Oh, Okay." I say.
"Yeah, the apartment is quite nice." he says and I nod.
"That's good." I smile lightly.
"I'm sorry for everything since I came here." he says.
"Yeah, that's okay." I look down.
"I promise, I didn't tell your mother about Zac." he says.
"It doesn't matter anymore." I say, while sipping my coffee.
"I don't know how she came to know, but I swear it wasn't me. I only told her that you were busy chatting with someone else." he says.
"Hmmm." Okay, Who is it? If not him then?
"So, can we please be as we were before?" he asks.
"Nico. I always considered you as my bestfriend back then. I still consider you." I say and he smiles.
"Thank you." he says while holding my hand.
"Let's forget about the past now." I say, slowly taking my hand away.
"But I already know your answer and that's fine. You can forget about that text." he says.
"Huh? What are you talking about?" I ask, confused.
"The text I sent you when you went to your friend's place." he says while clenching his fist.
What is he talking about? When did I go to my friend's place? And which friend? Is he referring to Katerine? But I didn't go to Kat since Nico moved in my previous house.
Damn. He is talking about Zac."Oh.. But I didn't find any text." I say, still confused about the whole text thing.
"You replied to me." he looks at me with a serious expression.
"EH?" I exclaim.
He takes out his phone and shows me the conversation.
Me: Hey Lily, I know that I should not disturb you but I just wanted to say that I miss you. I think about you every time and I hope that you still remember our little moment back then in New York, don't you?"
Scarlette: I don't remember. Forget about it you too. Bye.
What the hell? When did I reply to this? I'm so freaking confused. Wait! MY Phone was with Zac that day!! Is he the one that replied?? I need an explanation!
"Hmm, I'm sorry about that text. My mood was off. But when did I reply?" I ask him.
"You replied one day after." he says, showing me the time and date.
Obviously! It's not me as I didn't have my phone back from him.
"Oh okay." I say, "Anyway, it was nice talking to you. See you at the big game later." I say and he nods. We exchange a hug and I make my way back home. I really need to have a talk with Zac. I can't believe he did that! I'm so angry right now. I'm more upset about the fact that I have to wait after the game.
