They were catching up
Get to the creek first
She can't go back
Drown herself let world turn black
Bare feet bleeding
Against Texans riding
No escaping
Collapsing
Giving in
Waiting to be taking
Horses slow
Four bastards in a row
"Little bunny the cathouse paid those Comancheros good money."
"Back you go and work off what you owe."
She screamed and to her surprise the four horsemen looked scared
She screamed again and they turned and fled.
She watched unbelieving.
Scared Texans galloping.
From her?
No
From something behind
What's there?
She turned
A beast above her towered
Upon its back rode death
Gun pointing
At bastards fleeing.
