On the Wrong Side of the Law
Chechi sits down in the saloon
Just resting a little bit
When Ruechari sees her there
Deciding: 'Next to her I'll sit.'
To Chechi Nikash she walks
'May I sit next to you?', she asks
Chechi shrugs her shoulders.
'Suit yourself', she says
'I have nothing against you.
So, alright, take a place.'
Rue sits down and smiles
'How it comes, you are here?'
'I've been riding many miles.
Always watchful eye and ear.'
'I wanted to settle down
Maybe in your western town.
Busted gulch seems to be nice.
A good living, resting place.'
The talk goes on, and on, and on
It's getting very late
Chechi decides to leave right soon
She wants to cause no fate
When Chechi gets out of the saloon
She's tired and restless at once
She looks to the sky and sees the pale moon
In the last bright sun's glance
She walks down the street
Silently humming
Looks down at her feet
Trouble is coming
'Where're you going?' 3Gun asks her
'There were I want to be, when at last I am there.'
3Gun looks confused and gets more angry and wild
When he sees two colts hanging in the holsters at her side
'Why do you wear those? Hand 'em over to me!'
Chechi shakes her head. 'Why, I don't see...'
'I am the sheriff, better do, as I said!'
She grabs at her holsters, not slightly afraid
The sheriff takes out his gun
Rue sees it. What had Chechi done?
On gunpoint Chechi goes to jail
Not understanding, what was her fail
Rue, now reminding their talk
Runs after them, to save her neck
'3Gun!', she calls inside
'Free her, it was not her fault!
She's new here! She couldn't know,
She's mustn't carry her guns at all!'
3Gun steps out, quite annoyed.
'The bail, though, has to be payed.
What she's done was against the law,
And, though innocent, it was her flaw.'
'How much is it? I'll bail her out!'
Says Ruechari without doubt.
He raises an eyebrow.
'You sure wanna pay?
It's ten strawberry muffins
You would have to give away.'
Ruechari nods. 'I'll be right back!'
And get's the muffins as fast as she can
'Here's your bail', she says to 3Gun
'It'll get her out, for something, she hasn't done!'
3Gun unlocks the jail
And sets Chechi free
'Be glad that Rue paid the bail.
And try remeb'ring me.'
Chechi nods and she walks out
Not saying one more word
3Gun sighs while sitting down.
'Sure, I'll remember her...'
