Finding Direction
Lou sighed with frustration
Here she was again
Bailing out the Buchanan's
Why can't they follow a plan?
If she were honest
It wasn't their fault
She was use to her boys
Whom she had taught.
Her informant ring
Was second to none
There wasn't anything
She couldn't get done.
But Buck turns himself in
Without real reason
Perhaps out of guilt
But without even an alibi built?
Bruce is who knows where
She was wiling to let him go
Not that she didn't care
But if he's given all he can give
With that she could live.
But now to get Buck free
She had to see
If she could track down Bruce
Or Wade if he was still on the loose.
She had a feeling that Justice
Was throwing her off track
She thought it odd
That Billy never made it back
But she knew just where to start
In the bar, where she was to meet Write.
She scoped out the place
Until her prey came in sight.
She came up to the bar
Got him a drink.
She knew he traveled far.
By the way in the chair he did sink.
"Nice of you too offer but
It's sad said to say
I'm too tired to even to enjoy
the pleasure of you today."
"I wasn't offerin', Mitch."
Lou took her finger and tilted his chin
"I'm looking for information."
He pulled her into his lap
She gave his face a slap.
He chuckled hard
But her escape he barred.
