I'm the best friend of the worldwide-known band Bangtan Sonyeondan, a.k.a BTS. I met Taehyung and Jimin in freshman year. We've been friends for quite a while. Three peas in a pods, you could say. When they told me that that BigHit made them trainees, I was beyond happy! When the rest of the members came into the equation, I got to know them better. We exchanged numbers, hung out, etc..

We saw each other in person only 65% of the time, but we stayed connected like our lives depended on it. So, during the holidays, I'm usually alone because my parents work so much, (plus they live away from me) my brother Kim Myung Jun, a.k.a MJ of ASTRO, is also an idol and always working.

I enjoy being alone, but I do get lonely.

December 25th, 2018.

Christmas Day.

My phone lit up with a notification.

Mom: Hey Y/N! Merry Christmas! Dad and I got your gifts! We love them so much. Yours should be in the mail today! I love you so much.

I smiled to myself, and replied with:

I love you too! And that's great! I'll go check the mail.

I get dressed, quickly eat, and went to the post office.

I sat on the bed and tore open the gift from Mom. She got me three CDs from my favorite artists! I put those next to the big box of CDs near the CD player. I then tore into the one from Dad. He got me a huge, baggy, hoodie, and a beanie.

I put the over-sized hoodie on, plus the new hat. I felt so comfy.

Author's POV

Y/N lied down on her/his/their bed, then quickly fell asleep.

Y/N's POV

"Guys, guys, she's waking up!"

"Yay!!"

"Shut up, Taehyung!"

"Sorry.."

I awoke from the voices. The first face I saw hovering over me was Namjoon.

"Surprise!" he said. He made jazz hands, while some of the members waved and smiled at me.

"How did you guys get in my house..?" I wearily sat up. Namjoon laughed.

"Spare key, Y/N."

"Oh... right."

I totally forgot I gave them I spare key three months ago...

"Well.. Merry Christmas!" said Hoseok.

I got up and hugged Namjoon. Everyone else joined in. "I love you guys.."

"Ew, Y/N, stop being so cheesy!" said Yoongi. We all started laughing.

The best Christmas is with the people you love most :)
