Spring Break | Jungkook

It was Spring Break.

Finally.

It was honestly pure luck that I didn't have any assignments on Spring Break. Ten days of absolute bliss. But what sucked was that all my friends were either gonna party or were on vacation.

Great.

I hate parties and my parents were going on a little 'honeymoon' somewhere in the states and didn't tell me about it. So I was stuck at home with the dog.

As I open the door to the apartment, my tiny dog runs towards me, jumping into my arms.

"Hello there, Honey," you know that voice you make when you speak to animals or babies? That was my voice.

I normally take my dog on a walk after school, I get the leash and hook it on her pastel yellow collar. Her white fur complimented the collar perfectly.

When Honey was done doing her business, I decide to sit down on a park bench and enjoy the beautiful whether. Not hot, not cold, just in the middle. The sky was an over saturated shade of blue, and the clouds as white as snow. The sun felt warm on my skin while a small breeze blew past.

I was in my own little world, staring at the clouds, my brain imagining the clouds as things other than clouds.

That cloud sort of looks like a heart...

"Hey, may I pet your dog?"

I looked up at the stranger who had asked to pet my dog. It was Jungkook. He's a mutual friend from my history and art class. Oh, and I also happen to like him...

"Jungkook?"

He smiled nodded. "That's my name!"

"What are you doing here?" Dammit, that was a stupid question...

"Just taking a walk," he said.

"Oh, and of course you can pet her," I motioned down toward the small canine. She looked up at Jungkook, tilting her head.

Jungkook bent down to pet Honey. She licked his fingers as he talked to her in that animal/baby voice.

"She's so cute! What's her name?" He asked.

"Honey, and I know right?" I smiled. He took a seat next to me.

"You doing anything during our break, Y/N?" I picked up my dog from the ground and placed her in Jungkook's lap. His face was plastered with joy as he picked her up and made funny faces at her.

"No," I said grimly. "I mean, I needa go to the grocery store later to get Honey some food, but that's it." I chuckled.

"Aw," he put Honey back down in his lap. "Bummer. But I have two movie tickets for the new horror movie, but my friends are either on vacation or partying. Wanna come?"

I smiled. "Sure! I've been wanting to watch that movie when the trailer first came out. What time?"

"Great! I'll pick you up at six tomorrow," he put Honey in my lap. "Can I have your number? You know, so I can let you know when I'm coming to your house and I'll need your address too."

He laughed at himself. "That sounded creepy, but I swear I'm not."

"Of course, Jungkook," he gave me his phone and I punched in my phone number.

He got up from the bench. "I needa get going now," he said. "I can't wait for tomorrow! Bye!" And he left.

And I smiled like an idiot.

My phone dinged and flashed.

Unknown Number: I'll see you tomorrow ;)
