I love Billie's new album and I just wanted an excuse to make this so enjoy-

"you said she's scared of me? i mean, i don't see what she sees, but maybe it's 'cause i'm wearing your cologne."

"Dude, you really shouldn't speak a word to him," said my friend Caitlyn. I'm on the basketball team and there's this guy who's new to the school, but people don't tend to talk/mess with him. And he's really good at basketball. I want to talk to him, but... my friend tells me that he's a bad guy.
All I want to do is be friends with him. But... should I?
"He doesn't seem bad," I said. "The other day I dropped my books and he helped me pick them up-"
"He just wants to seem nice," Caitlyn interrupted. "Don't fall for it."
I rolled my eyes. "Yeah, whatever."
-
I was walking to the basketball court in my neighborhood and was greeted by the quote unquote 'bad guy' and his friends. It was a big group of seven people. It was slightly intimidating since it was a squad of seven tall guys and I'm just one tiny person.
I approach the basketball court and go to the other side of the court and start practicing my shooting. I try to ignore the guys talking. They're clearly talking about me since I would see them pointing at me from the corner of my eye.
I suddenly feel a tap on my shoulder. I turn around and see Yoongi. Fuck. I've never actually had a long conversation with him so I'll probably end up being awkward as hell.
"Hey," He said. "I'm new here and I want to know your name since I don't know too many people here."
Right, because meeting six people in the five days you were here isn't a lot of people.
I try to come off as tough, even if I was tiny compared to him. "It's Y/N," I said. "I've already seen you around. Yoongi, I'm guessing."
"Yeah," He said.
Then there was a pause. A long, (it was probably ten seconds, but it felt like years) awkward, pause.
"So, um, you don't need to, but... you wanna hang out later this week?" I was shocked. Did he just...
"Yeah, sure," I said. I dribbled the basketball, somewhat regretting my decision. "Is Saturday cool, or..."
I saw his cheeks become visibly redder. "Uh, yeah, Saturday's fine with me," he said. "Do you, uh, have your phone on you so I can... give you my number? I left my phone at home and..."
I took my drawstring bag and took out my phone. I handed the phone to him. "Go ahead."
He punched in his number and hands the phone back to be. He rubs the back of his neck. "Thanks," his voice cracks and he clears his throat. "Uh, I'll see you soon..."
And he goes off. I hear his friends talking, but I ignore it and keep practicing.
-
"What the actual fuck, Y/N," Caitlyn kept pacing around my room. "Yoongi asked you to hang out with him and you said yes? Are you dense?"
"I panicked!" I exclaimed. It was 12pm, meaning Yoongi would pick me up in four hours. "Plus, what if he's not bad?"
"You're being stupid, Y/N."
"No backing out now..."
-
time skip.
It was 4pm. My friend had texted me to be careful.
I was with him and his friends at an amusement park. So basically, there's Jungkook, Taehyung, Jimin, Namjoon, Jin, and Hoseok. They're all pretty nice.
Jungkook bought me cotton candy and Jin complimented me. We played a couple games and won stuffed animals but we mostly lost.
The rides were cool too.
But I wanted to go back home. Not because I wasn't having fun, but because I was tired and wanted to go back home. But I didn't say anything.
Yoongi's other friends kinda ditched us and left us alone for a while, so I got to talk to Yoongi. He was actually really nice.
Suddenly, rain started pouring down on us and Yoongi took off his sweater and told me to put it on. It was a zip-up sweater and was twice the size on me. I complied and we started running to a nearby cafe.
Surprisingly, it was just us. The cashier was kind of chilling out and not doing anything. I wrapped myself up in Yoongi's sweater.
He chuckled. "You like my sweater?"
I blushed. "Yeah, it's soft..."
"Oh, um, do you want anything from here? Coffee, tea..."
"No, I'm good," I said. "Um, why don't you text one of the guys and ask where they are."
"Good idea."
Yoongi took out his phone and texted one of the guys. I waited for Yoongi to tell me where they are.
"They're in the car."
-
We run back in the rain to the car. I squeezed myself in the backseat and hugged myself as I shivered. My nose started getting runny and my mascara was smudged.
"Where the hell were you?" Asked Namjoon. "We thought you'd come to the car, but we didn't see you."
"We ran to a cafe near the amusement park," said Yoongi as he started up the car.
"Why didn't you come here?"
"Don't worry about it," Yoongi started driving.
Jin looked at me from the shotgun seat. "Is that Yoongi's sweater?" I blushed and hugged myself tighter.
"Maybe."
Jin smiled. "Aww, Yoongi is so romantic!" Although I couldn't see him, I sensed that he was probably rolling his eyes at Jin.
"I wasn't about to let her catch a cold from the rain," said Yoongi. "It was just a nice thing to do."
"He totally likes you," Jin whispered. "He doesn't like opening up too much."
"Jin, I swear to god-"
-
We finally get to my place. The rain had come to halt and Yoongi got out of the car to walk me over to the apartment complex.
"Thanks for coming to hang out with us," Yoongi said as he walked with me.
"It was no problem," I said. I look at my hands and see the dark fabric of his sweater still on me, the sleeves longer than my arms, covering some of my hands. "Oh, um, here's your-"
"You can keep it."
"What?"
"That jacket was from a year ago," he said. "I had a growth spurt so it was kind of an awkward fit on me. And it looks better on you."
I blushed. "Oh, uh, thanks," I said. "Um, so, do you think we could hang out again?"
"Sure," He said. "Just text me and if I'm free, we can hang out."
"Cool," I said. I came closer to him for a hug and I kissed him on the cheek. "I'll see you then. Bye!"
"Bye, Y/N!" He waved me goodbye and I went off.
Yoongi isn't a bad guy after all. In fact, I think I might like him.
