Amy stopped the car and walked to the front porch with Mark by her side.

She knocked on the door and it opened in no time.

Clayton first lay eyes on the little guy, "sup bro," he greeted Mark with a fist bump.

Mark grinned, "hey Clayton. Is Zoe in?" He asked, peeping into the house curiously.

"Yep, come in you'll find her almost instantly," Clayton replied.

Mark nodded and walked past Clayton and through the door like he owned the place.

Clayton's eyes went to the red head girl infront of him and a smirk graced his lips.

"Nice outfit," he teased.

Amy then finally looked down at what she was wearing. She only put on some old faded sweatpants and an oversized shirt that she wore inside out.

"Oh," She muttered with a blush on her cheeks. This is so embarrassing, she thought.

"Come on in, I'll show you the bathroom so you can fix it," Clayton suggested with a laugh and Amy walked into the house, her face as red as ever.

Amy followed him from behind, giving herself a pep talk.

"Good one Amy, embarrass yourself even more in front of the guy because it's so attractive," she muttered to herself sarcastically.

Clayton chuckled from in front of her, "I think it's cute," he said with a wink and turned back forward, nodding to the bathroom which Amy scurried into.

Here comes the blush.

-

Amy wiped her eyes dry with a tissue and sniffed as the toy story movie ended.

Mark yawned, "I love toy story," he said out loud and Zoe nodded in agreement.

They were presently in the living room watching movies. Amy turned to Clayton who was sitting next to her on the couch. He looked bored.

"How aren't you crying, or even showing any emotion?" Amy asked him.

He shrugged, "I'm a man Amy, and that was just a cartoon. Of course I wouldn't cry."

Zoe turned back to her brother and her eyes widened in disbelief, "you didn't cry?" Zoe said as she looked at her brother, "but you always cry when we watch toy story. You even cried yesterday when we watched Rapunzel because you said Eugene cut her hair too short."

Clayton glared at his sister, "shut up Zoe," he said, and if he were light skinned his cheeks would be tinted red by now.

Amy bursts out laughing. So this brave and cool guy act was all a facade?

"Busted," Amy said.

"Okay, I get it," Clayton said in an attempt to dismiss the cause of his embarrassment.

"Don't worry Clayton, I cry too," Mark said patting his chest in an attempt to look manly, "but that doesn't stop me from being a man."

They all broke into fists of laughter. At a point Clayton couldn't help but stop and listen to the sweet melodic sound of Amy's laugh.

It sounded like an angel's, and she definitely looked like one as well when she laughed, or even smiled.

It always took his breath away for some reason.

He snapped out of his thoughts when Amy spoke, "I think we should get going. It's getting late and we have to be home in time for dinner."

They all nod and bid their goodbyes, Clayton watched as Mark and Amy drove away, missing their company already.

"Amy, when are we going to see Zoe and Clayton again?" Mark asked his sister from the back seat.

"Soon," Amy replied, as she drove in silence.

She felt patient.
