The rain was bad, it fell heavily and the thunderclouds were covering the blue sky.
Amy blew out a breath, staring at her laptop in front of her on her bed, playing a Netflix series.
A bowl of fruit on her lap replacing the junk food she would usually had.
She has started to eat more healthy, taking more fruits and less meat or normal meat. Taking different tablets with names she could pronouncing.
She felt sick - she was sick.
She was staring at the screen but couldn't seem to focus on what was happening.
She felt trapped in a transparent shell. No one saw it but her.
She wanted to scream but the walls bounded her voice.
She has no voice.
Her phone vibrated from beside her. She glanced at the notification and saw it was a message from Clapton.
A smile immediately met her lips.
She felt only connected to the boy and couldn't understand why. But she didn't care, she always felt better around him and that's all that mattered.
Clayton: hi
Amy: hey
Clayton: what you doing?
Amy: Netflix
Clayton: everyone seems to be on that website these days
Amy: you're not on Netflix
Clayton: should I be?
Amy: are you even a member of society?
Clayton: I don't think I want to be. Society has limits and patterns.
Amy: what do you mean
Clayton: society has rules, you have to fit into society. I don't want to have to. I want to fit in my own way.
Amy smiled and began to reply.
Amy: well that's deep.
Clayton laughed when he read her message.
Clayton: I know right, I should become a poet
Amy: you're so boring
Clayton: I know
Amy: what are you doing?
Clayton: shitting
Amy: ew. Wtf Clayton
Clayton: lol. I'm just kidding, I'm at work.
Amy: but it's raining so bad
Clayton: I know
Amy: then what are you doing at work?
Amy sent the message, feeling a bit worried.
Clayton: I had to take care of something
Amy: what?
Amy: Clayton?
Amy: you there?
Clayton: yah I'm back, sorry I replied late
Amy: it's okay
Amy: what are you taking care of?
Clayton: it's private, sorry...
Amy frowned, she felt kind of hurt that he wouldn't tell her, but to be real they just met, he can't tell her everything so suddenly.
Clayton: I've gotta go, bye Amy
Amy: bye
Amy stared at her phone, a moment longer just hoping he would text her saying his back.
After a few seconds of silence she dropped her phone continued the film.
And this time she tried harder to focus on the episode.
She felt interested.
