Amy stared at everyone she has ever loved. Her family, her close friend Dustin and Landon; her first love.

Tears welled up in her eyes but she was too weak to clean the ones that fell.

"I - I'm so sorry I have to leave like this," she tells them all with a sad smile on her face. "I wish Deborah were here," she said, referring to her second best friend.

Her mother held her hand softly, "we understand this is what you want," she said. "You've been through enough pain."

Amy smiled at her. She didn't want a dramatic death, she wanted something simple and peaceful. She didn't want any tears.

"We will always love you, Amy," her father says and her mother nods in agreement.

Mark runs to her and pulls her into an embrace with his small arms. "I love you," he whispers to her before he lets go.

"I love you too," amy replies.

"We'll be outside," Amy's mother says and leaves the room with Mark. Amy's father follows them after landing a kiss on her forehead.

"Goodbye pumpkin," he mutters before sending her one last smile.

Landon and Dustin were left in the room.

"I never thought I would have to say goodbye like this, and so early..." Dustin trails with pain evident in his voice.

"Me too," she replies. "Tell Deborah I said goodbye, and I love her."

He nods, "goodbye strawberry," he says, using his nickname for her.

She smiled, "adios lolipop."

Dustin kissed the back of her palm soflty before leaving the room.

Landon was left.

"Landon..." Amy trailed off.

"I wish you told me earlier. I would have made more memories..." He said sadly. "It hurts that I have to loose you too."

Amy's lips quivered, "I love you so much," she tells him.

He lets out a breath and places a short kiss on her lips, "I love you more."

It slowly drained away the life from her.

She was going and going till she was finally gone.

She felt nothing but content.
