The burial wasn't long after her death.
Friends and families came to pay their respects and support the grieving family.
Landon stood beside Dustin, a bottle of water in his hand as he stared at nothing at all.
He still couldn't believe she was gone. He felt so lost and empty inside. She completed him, and now that she's gone he felt he was right back at stage one.
His eyes watered and he tried his best to blink the tears away but couldn't. Landon clenched his jaw tightly and squeeze his eyes closed.
Dustin squeezed his shoulder slightly, "you'll be alright man," he reassured Landon.
Landon's lips break into a smile as he caught eyes with Dustin, "I know I will, thank you," he tells him and Dustin nods understandingly.

Later that night Mark laid in his bed, his mind wondering around memories of his late older sister. He felt shivers run down his spine.
It was around two in the morning and he couldn't sleep.
Mark sniffed slightly, cleaning the tears that ran down his cheeks. He walked out of his room absentmindedly, his feet moving without him even knowing where he was going.
That was until he stopped at room her door. His parents left her things inside untouched to leave a piece of her with the family.
Mark opened the door slowly and walked into the painfully empty room. He switched on the light and closed the door softly behind him.
It smelled like her, he thought as he climbed onto her well made bed and cried himself to sleep.
Though, he would have never admitted it then, Amy was his best friend and he loved her more than anything. But now she's gone, and she's never coming back.

The next morning Amy's family invited Landon and his little sister Zoe for breakfast.
When Zoe and Landon arrived Mark didn't really pay them attention. His parents noticed how quiet he'd been acting since Amy's death.
Immediately after the breakfast Mark left into his room without sharing a word with anyone. Zoe noticed this.
Zoe walked up to Mark's room and knocked softly on the door, when no one replied she let herself in silently.
Zoe seats beside Mark on his bed, "hey," she greets quietly.
"Go away," Mark says and turns away from her.
Zoe doesn't speak for a few seconds, she didn't exactly understand what he was going through, but she knew.
"I know you're very sad, and you should be, she was your best friend and sister. But don't forget that she loved you, and you'll always have her memory," Zoe says without moving, she felt Mark turn his head towards her curiously.
Zoe continues, "I might not understand your pain, but I'm always going to be there for you if you need a friend, I will not judge you for crying so you shouldn't worry about that," Zoe finished, finally looking back at Mark with a small smile on her face.
Mark smiled back but it was shaky, "promise me you'll never judge me for crying like a girl," he says, bringing out his pinky finger.
Zoe wraps hers around his, "I promise," she says honestly and pulls him in for a hug. Mark cries on her shoulder for a few minutes before pulling away.
"Thank you for being here for me Zoe," Mark says genuinely.
Zoe shrugs, "what are friends for."
Mark's smile widened as he stared at Zoe, he felt more at ease knowing he had a friend there for him. She was like his gaurdian angel.
At that moment he knew he was going to alright. He felt it.
