Amy's mother and her little brother where in Amy's hospital room.

Her mother couldn't find it in her self to leave and Mark couldn't either.

Though no one noticed, it affected Mark the most.

Up until now he couldn't look at Amy, he felt terrible.

He knew she was going to die regardless of what all the adults told him.

Tears brimmed his eyes as he saw his favorite person in the world fight for her life.

The room opened and a nurse walked in.

"Excuse me, I'll need you too sign some documents please," the nurse said the Amy's mother.

The mother stood from her seat and followed the nurse out, leaving Mark in the room.

He stared at his sister for a few more seconds and could feel the tears finally fall.

He sniffed and tried using his sleeve to dry them but they kept coming until he was sobbing and crying softly.

He caressed her hand with his small ones and planted a kiss on her knuckle.

"Mummy told me I'll see you again one day," he said. "And when I do, you better give ice cream for making me feel sad."

He felt someone squeeze his hand. He looked up at Amy and realized her eyes were open and she was smiling down at him.

"Mark..." She trailed off and he rushed to her for a hug before crying on her shoulder.

"I don't want to have to miss you," he said between sobs.

Amy cold feel tears of her own brim get eyes. "You will have to miss me Mark, but you still have my memories, don't forget me little bro."

He shakes his head, "how could I?" He says looking down at his sneakers, "I hate everyone for taking you away from me, I hate the doctors, I hate mom, I hate dad, I hate me..."

"Hey," Amy called, gaining his attention, "it is no one's fault, it's how God wants it," she added. Amy could see the broken little boy infront of her and she felt it were her fault. "Don't push everyone away Mark, especially not Zoe."

His eyes shot up at the sound of her name, "Zoe?"

"There's something special about that girl," Amy says, "don't loose her."

He nodded silently.

"Where is mom anyways?" Amy asks.

"Right here," a voice says from the door. Their mom stared at them both with the biggest smile on her face.

She felt relieved.
