To była moja praca na konkurs z angielskiego, ale stwierdziłam, że tematycznie tu pasuje. Jest taka krótka, bo niestety był limit słów 😔 (który i tak przekroczyłam, ale to nie ważne😅). Z góry przepraszam też za wszystkie błędy, ale orłem z angielskiego nie jestem.
Marvellous Christmas
I want to tell you about my best Christmas ever.
The day started just as usual. I checked the e-journal for the last time before Christmas and I noticed a new message. Nick Fury was set as a sender. I read it and it turned out that my family and I won a Christmas dinner in the Avengers Tower. I couldn't believe it. I started shouting and jumping all over the house. My parents and brother were looking at me strangely, but they didn't say anything.
- We are going to spend Christmas in the Stark Tower! - I shouted.
- That's great darling - said my mum.
*25th of December - Christmas*
In the evening at 5pm o'clock, we were told to come to the Stark Tower. We were greeted by Vision who led us to the living room. The superheroes were waiting for us. At the beginning, we were feeling a bit awkward, but then the atmosphere started to warm up. After the truly heart-warming greeting, we sat down at the table and started eating a tasty dinner. We looked like one big and crazy family. After dinner we exchanged gifts. We got various electronic gadgets from Tony Stark/Iron Man! The heroes got from us hand-made pendants with personalized ornaments on them. They were delighted.
- This jewellery is beautiful! - said Wanda/Scarlet Witch. - Who made it?
- Mainly my mother. She has a consuming passion for making jewellery, but everyone added something - I said.
- Wanda is right. You have a huge talent - said Natasha/Black Widow.
- Thank you very much! - my mother gave everyone a radiant smile.
Then we were playing puns and fooling around. Clint/Hawkeye decided to teach me how to shoot with a bow. Bruce/Hulk and Loki/God of Mischief were cheering me up. My dad and brother went to Tony's studio to test the new Iron Man armour. My mother, Wanda and Natasha started to talk about art and Thor/God of Thunder with Vision were listening to them. Worldwide famous heroes turned out to be great people full of empathy. We were having fun all day long and that was the best Christmas ever.
