Outside, before the bell

"Did you see that new video he posted?"

"It was the stupidest thing I've ever seen. Can we watch it again?"

Jungkook and his friends were sitting on one of the park benches outside of the school before the bell watching a random video one of them came across and laughing so hard that one of them nearly fell off the bench. Ariana slowly walked up to the table wondering whether or not to keep walking and pretend she didn't know them or approach them to see what they were crying from laughter at.

"A part of me wants to ask what the big deal is but another ones to just pretend none of you exist."

Her friend Hoseok looked up from his phone and motioned her over to where they were sitting. "You have to watch this I swear! It'll make your entire day I promise."

She hesitantly watched the video and when they all started howling at the main part that they found absolutely hilarious she just shook her head at it but couldn't help but laugh herself. They were always finding weird videos to watch so they could laugh and this video consisted of random meme videos put together. Namjoon was usually the one that found these videos which wasn't really surprising. Jungkook was busy talking to Taehyung and jumped a little in his seat when she ruffled his hair.

"Morning kook. Want some breakfast?"

This time she was the one that brought food. Her friends had a bad habit of not grabbing something to eat before school or didn't eat in the mornings at all so she brought breakfast every now and then. She sat down the bag in front of him and he put an arm around her waist and gave her a side hug. Hoseok went "ooohh" from the other side of the table but Ariana payed him no mind. Namjoon did throw something at him though for saying that.

"How'd you know I was craving a biscuit and hash browns? You're literally so amazing."

"Where's my food?" Taehyung pouted.

Jungkook broke a hash brown in half and gave it to the boy next to him. Ariana chuckled at the sight right as the bell rang and everyone got off the bench to get to their first class. Students filed into the building while others went to the gym that had P.E. first period. She was busy talking to Namjoon about a new album their favorite artist recently dropped but the conversation was cut short when her phone vibrated in her back pocket. Namjoon looked at her with a look she knew too well but she didn't have time to say anything as she was already putting her phone to her ear. Going back to the bench where she was just sitting at she sighed, hoping it wasn't was she thought it was. She could feel her friends eyes on her but tried to ignore it.

"Miles, it's barely past seven." She said. People were still walking inside so she tried to keep her voice down.

"I know Ari. You're at school aren't you?"

"Shouldn't you be too?"

"I am, junior year is kinda important."

"Every year is important-"

"That's not the point. I just got the feeling that there's something going on downtown and I think it's bad. Ariana I'm sorry but.."
