" Ow " I said as the girl apply the medicinal herb on my shoulder.

" Sorry " she sarcastically said.

" It doesn't sound like your sorry, Faye " I said.

" Cause I'm not "

I look directly at her ocean blue eyes.

" What? " She asked, I scoff and she put pressure on the wound.

" Agh! " I yelp and I roll my eyes away from the brunette hair girl.

" Now stay still, don't even try any magic, the wolf bite is too deep, since I don't have any more threads, I can't stitch you up and you lost a lot of blood, your magics won't work on anything " she said, I sighed in exasperation.

She finishes attending to me and stood up walking away.

" Just let me bleed to death then, thanks " I said and stood up.

" You can heal others but you can't heal yourself " she said.

" That's not how magic works " I said as I pack my bags.

" Where are you going? " She asked.

" Someone sent me a letter, I have to head there " I said and put a belt around my thigh and inserted a knife.

" You can't go, you need plenty of rest " she said.

" You know me " I said.

I grab my jacket and wince when I put it on.

" Take these, you'll probably need them " I turn around and she pass me a small pouch.

I take it and open it to see gold.

" Faye that's too much- "

" Take it, as a magic user you know you need it, you don't just poof foods for yourself " she said.

" I make money myself, you need for you and your daughter " I said.

" You make money by doing a quest, going to dangerous places, from what I remembered, you got attack by a wolves, almost got eaten alive and end up on my doorstep passed out " she gesture to my wounded shoulder.

" What did mom said? " I asked.

" Always listen to your big sister " she said in a high-pitch voice as in imitating our mother, I snicker.

" Don't even remind me " she said.

" I may be an idiot but I'm capable in taking care of myself " I said.

" And yet I'm still more intelligent than you " she turns away, I shake my head as I roll my eyes away in annoyance.

" Hey " I grab her hand, she sighs in annoyance and turn to me.

I use both of my hands to hold her and a gold string light flow around our hands and it disappears like sand.

" You'll be protected, no one can hurt you " I said.

" You should see her before you leave " she said, I shake my head.

" I haven't seen her in a while " I said.

" I love you " she said.

" I love you too " I said as I exit the house with the pouch in my hand.

I approach my horse and out the pouch inside my satchel hanging on the horse.

" Come on Raven " I said as I untie the lead from the fence and tug on it as he follows me.

I sighed in relief as I adjust my hair covering my bandaged showing up my neck. Walking pass the people of the town. We exit Ayesgarth and down the clear path of dirt, passing a few people from the village.
