Y/n's pov.

Ein lie me down on the bed and I hiss in pain when my shoulder started to have a burning sensation. He place down my satchel and sword on the floor.

" My father should have caught your scent in any minute, I'll change the bandage so he wouldn't smell the blood any sooner " he pulls down my clothing and take off the bandage.

I yelp and gritted my teeth as he make me sit up and take off my jacket, I grip the bed sheet when he clean my flesh and wrap a new bandage. When he was done, he wipe my sweat off my forehead.

I lie back down only in my top and leggings.

" Where are you going? " I asked.

" Hoping to find Logan just in time " he said.

" Where do you think he is? " I asked and take deep breaths.

" You still have two hours left before sunset and Logan is probably in that tree house of his and it's 30 minutes away " he said.

" And what makes you think he'll agree? " I asked.

" Hey " he grips under my chin and turn my face to him.

" I'm not letting you die " he said.

" Just go " I said, he smiles.

" Hang in there " he pulls the blanket over half of my body then walk out of the room and shut the door.

I'm in pain, all I can do now is just endure it and rest.

Minutes later, I can't really seem to go to sleep and I hear the door open.

" Ein? " I open my eyes and see a man with jet black hair and dark blue eyes.

Oh crap.

" Flynn " I breathe heavily.

" I knew it was your scent by the time Ein stepped into the house "

" Please, I just need Logan to be here " I said.

" You should've been dead by now " he stand next to the bed.

" It doesn't matter, I just. . . . .need your son's blood and I'm. . .out of here " I wonder in between my sentences.

" No " he said.

" P-please " I plead.

I then cough as blood drip down my chin and the edge of my lips. I'm too weak to even lift a finger.

" You've damaged my son's reputation " he said.

" It wasn't my fault he did it for me. . .I told him we should go. . . .our separate ways, and he bit me for that " I blood comes up from my throat and I let it drip down the edge of my mouth.

" So your blaming him? " He asked.

" I'm not blaming anyone. . .humans and hybrids are always allies. . . . . .we fell in love and that's not our fault either " I said.

" The reason I changed the rules is because- "

" You lost your wife to a human. . .am I right? " I asked.

" I lost Alexandria because of your father " he said.

I furrowed my eyebrows and look up at him weakly.

" Wh-what? " I wince.

" We were great allies for years until three decades ago, he shot an arrow at her " he said.

" Your wrong " I said.

" Am I?, You weren't there, if I see him again, I'll kill him " he said, I snicker lightly.
