Y/n's pov.

" Where does this dragon live? " I asked.

" The last sighting of it was entering a cave above the mountain " Jai said.

" Can't you guys just teleport us there? " Agnes complains.

" It doesn't work like that " Laurence said.

" It's difficult to do a teleportation spell " I said.

" Unless you want a desiccating arm " Laurence said and we arrive under an arch.

" The rocks are fragile, try not to make loud noises, they can crumble on top of us " Agnes said.

We walk down the zig zag path and ended up on the edge down to our fall.

" I'd say that's miles and miles down to death " Coraline looks down.

" What now? " One of the dwarf asked.

" Here " Laurence call and I turn to see wooden planks on the edge of the rock.

I see it leads a very long way.

" Shit " Agnes said, I kick him lightly and he goes to the planks.

He goes with the other dwarf and I go on to the wooden planks holding onto the chain.

" Don't look down " I said and continue when I hear a bust.

" Agh! " I look behind me and see Laurence holding a chain.

Jeremy, Coraline and Jai hanging down.

" It won't hold! " Jai shouts.

" Laurence you'll break your arm " I said.

He struggles holding on to the chains and I see his hand is slipping, I grip his hand.

The planks I'm standing on break halfway.

" You gotta let go! " Jeremy shouts.

" No! " Laurence wince as I see his hand is bleeding.

" Laurence " I panic as the plank under me is on the urge of breaking.

Jai then let's go.

" No! " Laurence shouts.

Jeremy and Coraline then let go and the planks under him breaks. I pull him and hold on to the chain as we both pant.

" Their gone " I exhale in disbelief.

" Aye!, What's going on back there?! " I hear Agnes shouts.

" Let's just move " Laurence turn his head to me, I nodded.

I start to move and we made it to the end.

" Where's the old guy and the siblings? " Balinor asked.

" They fell " I said.

" Well he's an inconvenient anyways " he said and walk away.

" Inconvenient? " I asked, he approaches.

I notice the dwarfs and his men's running quickly.

" If we see the dragon he'll kill it and get the reward, well guess what I am going to kill it " he said.

I then grunted when a sharp pain was on my thigh. I look down and see he stabbed me.

" Hey! " Laurence rush to me and I fall in the ground.

" Your magic users are cheaters " he said and run away with the others.

I sit up as I grunted holding the handle of the dagger.
