" Y/n " I feel a shake on my shoulder.

I'm lying on my side and I turn to my back lying flat as I moan.

" What happened? " I asked.

" Courtney happen " I open my eyes to see Laurence and the sky is dark.

" You let me kiss the wrong guy " I said in a sleepy tone.

" Bastard " he makes me sit up.

" What did he gave me? " I asked as he wrap his arm around my back.

" It's some kind of drug, and it muted our magic as well, I don't know how long it'll last but it's been four hours since I was knocked out and three in a half for you " he said.

" It's strong " I said and lean on his shoulder.

" The drowsiness will fade in like 15 minutes " he said.

" Whatever, I'm sleeping " I make myself comfortable.

" Really? " He asked.

I sighed and sit up properly, I look around and we're in some kind of cell.

" Where are we? " I asked.

" Definitely an illusion cell " he said.

" A what? " I asked.

" Illusion cell, we're either underground or inside a cave or something, but in the outside it's like a normal environment " he said.

" Then Courtney and Eddie won't have to worry about anything if they leave us since they muted our magic " I said.

" And the one who used illusion spell on themselves " he said.

" But it didn't last long " I said.

" So, we're thinking this will not either " he said.

" They need to come back in order to redo the spell " I stood up and he did as well.

" That's tiring, to hold up an illusion spell for so long " he said.

" Well we're not using our magic " we both stiffen our backs to see Courtney entering the area from the wall, I approach the wooden bars.

" We're draining your powers through that " she pointed above the ceiling, I look up at the ceiling to see a piece of ruby hanging by a vine, it's too high for us to reach.

" Is that why you've been stealing? " I asked.

" Jewelry might be just accessories or beautiful looks to others, what they don't know is. . . . " she approaches the wooden bar.

" They can hold any power, I put a spell on it, draining your power to the illusion spell, to me " she holds the green amulet around her neck.

" Why? " I asked.

" I'm glad you asked " she said.

" Draining powers from others only brings you to chaos " Laurence said.

" And chaos brings to death " Eddie enters the room.

" Yeah, I believe we heard that to the past few magic users we've drained " he said.

He looks at me.

" Your disgusting " I said.

" Oh come on, you probably kissed other type of guys " Courtney said.
