Y/n's pov.

" Hey " I place my hand on Laurence as I sit down on the bed next to him.

" I'm tired " he covers his eyes with his arm.

" I gotta make sure your alright " I said.

" What are you saying?, I am " he moves his arm away from us eyes.

" Laurence, we can't just ignore what happened this morning " I said.

" Y/n, please " he turns his head to me.

" I know it's a rough day, but your in pain, you need to talk it out " I said.

" So your a physician now? " He asked.

" I didn't mean it like that " I said.

" Well you get what I meant " he said, I roll my eyes away.

I got off the bed and grab my jacket.

" Where are you going now? " He asked.

" I'm going to take a walk " I hang my sword on my back

" Look, I'm sorry " he said and I walk out of the room we rent in the tavern.

I leave the building and exhale, I see Raven by the stable. I approach him and open the gate.

" What do you say Raven?, He's stubborn right? " I asked.

He snorts and lightly hit his head on my shoulder.

" So you agree? " I chuckled as I pet his head.

" You talk to your horse? " I turn around and see Hayden.

" Oh, you startled me " I said.

" You didn't answer my question " he said.

" Oh, I used to talk to my horse when I was little, keeps me company " I said.

He approach me as he has his hands behind him, I raise a brow at him.

" Are you stalking me? " I asked.

" No, just want to see him for the very last time before I take my leave " he said.

" You do get the note that he doesn't approve your appearance " I said.

" I do, I just want to see him safe " he said.

" He is, with us together " I said.

" You seem positive " he said.

" We look out for each other, I'd say we trust each a lot " I said, he hummed in response.

" Why are you all alone out here? " He asked.

" Laurence and I were just talking and I needed some fresh air, what about you?, What are you doing out here in the middle of the night? " A nervous laugh was let out from me.

" Oh, just taking a stroll and I told you, to check on Laurence " he said.

" I'm sorry on how Laurence acted earlier " I said.

" It's not your fault, he's always been like that, every time I try to fix something he denies " he said.

" I never seen him acted like that before " I said.

" He will be fine, just take care of him for me " he said, I nodded.

" Y/n come back inside, it's cold out here " I turn around to see Laurence.
