I hiss as I prick my self with the needle, I wipe the blood on the amethyst and the lid of the box open, I see the seals inside and I sigh in relief.

" That's three " I said and connect it with the other two.

" How are we going to find the fourth one? " Cadenza asked.

" Maybe the book has a clue " Lucinda said as she opens the journal.

" What about me? " Hayden asked.

I see Cadenza rolling her eyes away then pick up the apple in the bowl, she turns around and throw it at her father in the chest.

" Ow " he said.

" Can someone gag him? " Katelyn asked.

Courtney then raise her hand in the air and clench it into a fist, I turn and see Hayden with his lips shut not be able to open.

" A trick I learned while living here " Courtney smiles.

" Why are you gathering these? " Viveca asked.

" Mother told me to, she was terrified of something " I said.

" Something? " She asked.

" When I told her about Hayden has one of the four seals she freaked out and told us to get all four seals, for some reason, this last one is giving me a bad feeling " I said.

" Your mother was a magic user, I never seen her terrified of something " she said.

" I don't even know where he even gets it from " I glance at Hayden.

" He's full of surprises " Cadenza said without expression.

" What was your intention? " Eddie turns to Hayden, Courtney unmute him.

" I have a lot of intentions " he said.

" How did you know about it? " I turn to him.

" I was a friend of your father, wasn't difficult " he said.

" If you were a friend of my father I would've known you by now, and add in bonus, he would never tell anyone about this " I said.

" That's what you said " he said, Courtney silence him again.

" I don't have time for this, Lucinda " I turn to the girl who is flipping pages.

" Nothing but I got this " she sit up properly as she holds the book.

" Red was my only view, heat was the only temperature I feel, every time I put on the ring it starts messing with my head, the longer I put it on the more I loose control " she said.

" The book belongs to one of the brothers " she looks up at us with her eyes widened.

" Which one? " Katelyn asked.

" I'd said the bad one " Cadenza said.

The room door opens and we turn around to see Garroth, Gene and Laurence walking in.

" Nothing useful in his stuff " Garroth drops Hayden's belongings on the table with the rest.

Laurence walk up to me and I turn around immediately while I cross my arms, I grip my arm and swallow a lump in my throat.

" Red was my only view, heat was the only temperature I feel " Lucinda repeats as she hold her chin in thinking.
