Y/n's pov.

I feed Raven some apples as I pet him.

" We have a long journey ahead of us " I said.

" You talk to your horse? " I turn around to see Laurence, I smile and turn back to my horse.

" Raven keeps me company during travels, I talk to him and I pretend he talks back to make myself feel better " I said as I secure the saddle.

" That's depressing " he said.

" It helps me over the years so I won't lose my mind " I said.

" I'm afraid you already have " I feel his arm around my waist.

I chuckled as I place my hand over his arms.

" How? " I asked.

" You talk to a horse " he kiss my cheek.

I roll my eyes away and turn to him.

" I'm leaving " I said.

" The last time you kissed I left, and last night I kissed you, your leaving " he said.

" It was more than a kiss " I said.

" True " he said, I snicker and tilt my head to the side a little.

" I have to keep moving, it's the only sentence that has been in my brain " I said as I take his arms off.

" Can't we go together? " He asked, I cross my eyes as I raise a brow.

" Does that mean we'll be seeing each other in the next year then? " He asked.

" Why do you care? " I asked.

He was about to answer but stop himself.

" Here's a part that I don't understand about you " I said.

" What? " He asked.

" Everytime I ask you a question you never answer and stand there like an idiot " I said as I smile.

He looks down at me with an expression that says 'really', I wink and got on my horse.

" I have to go " I grab the reins.

" Where? " He asked.

" Anywhere Raven takes me " I said.

" Lost sanity, check " he said, I scoff.

" Look, if you want to tag along it's fine, just don't get out of my way " I knock on his head with my knuckles twice.

He smiles and I snap the horse rein lightly for Raven to start walking. I hear him from behind with his horse and I just smile.

" So this is Phoenix Drop huh? " I asked as I got off my horse and pass the Raven to a man at the stables.

" It has changed a lot since I left " Laurence said as he put on his sword on his back.

I look up and it's sunny so I put my hood on.

" I gotta say, it's better than Ayesgarth " I said as I look around to see the place.

" That's pretty far from here " I turn around to see a girl with raven hair and amber eyes.

I smile.

" And you are? " I asked.

" Aphmau! " Laurence smiles and they both hug each other.
