Y/n's pov.   

" Be careful " I hug Faye and she hugs back.

" You too " she said.

" I'll go get mother " I said, she nodded and I walk back into the house.

 I enter the house and see mother by the table on her wheelchair, I approach and stand behind her.

" It's time " I said, she nodded.

I turn the chair around to the exit when I hear rustling and I turn mother's room, I see a figure moving around while I look through in between in the door.

" There's someone in your room " I whisper, mother gasped lightly.

" Get me out of here first " she said, I nodded and my hand has an F/c aura and I push the wheelchair and it moved out the door by itself.

I turn back to the door and see the figure is gone, I approach the door and kick it as it swing open. The room appears to be empty, I turn to the drawer where I saw the figure was rummaging through, I see the upper drawer is not fully closed.

I approach it and place my hand on the door knob, I open it and see all mother's belongings, I close it and I hear a creak behind me, I turn around immediately just to see no one.

I sighed and walk out of the room then shut the door, I leave the house and see Faye is putting on Laila's jacket.

" Is everything set? " I asked, Faye stood up and nodded.

" Make sure she she sleeps well " I approach mother.

Two guards approached.

" Miss Faye, Her Lady has ordered us to escort you back to Ayesgarth " the guard said.

" All the way? " Faye asked.

" I told Aphmau and she is gladly to except my request, mother is too paranoid and the way she acted up yesterday worries me, there's a carriage up ahead for you two " I said.

" Okay " Faye grabs her daughter's hand.

We wave at each other and Faye push mother's chair as the guards follow them. I sigh.

" What's wrong? " I turn around and see Laurence, I smile.

" My mother is worrying me, she- " I stop myself and look around, I see Laurence's father walk down a path to the cemetery.

I lean into his ear.

" She knows something about your father " I whisper, his eyes widened and look down at me, I shrug.

" It has something to do with my seal " I said quietly.

He takes my hand.

" Let's talk about this at Aphmau's " he said, I nodded.

We walk down the path to Aphmau's mansion and I look to my left where I saw Hayden went when he was nowhere to be seen on his wife's grave.

" Wait " I stop in my tracks and turn around to the cemetery.

" What? " Laurence asked.

My eyes look around swiftly and I see him nowhere.

" Never mind, I thought I saw something " I said.

" Your paranoid again " he said, I turn to him.

" I'm fine "

" I think you should take a nap first then we'll deal with your mother's matter later afternoon, it's too early in the morning anyways " he said, I nodded and we both walk away hand in hand.
