Y/n's pov.

I stab my sword to the ground while I was pushed back by a force, I wince as I stop at the edge of the cliff. I look back to see how far the drop is to the forest below.

I turn back to Herobrine who just smirks as he holds a staff with the four eternal rings attached.

Laurence was then thrown to my side, I caught him before he falls off the cliff.

" We have to destroy that staff " I pant.

" It's no use, I tried, it blast me away " he said as I notice he has a huge cut on his temple.

" I still can't get him to hold the star " he said as I look up to see the star is on the ground.

" I'm not stupid " Herobrine said in his distorted voice.

" Using an old relic that gave me an immortal life to kill me won't work the second time! " He laughs maniacally.

" It was my idea " I look up and see Altis approaching with a scythe in his hand.

" Big brother, trying to save the day once again like the hero you once were? " Herobrine chuckles.

" Why are you doing this?!, I thought we had a great bond! " Altis said.

" Sweet talk all you want, it won't work, why can't you see that I'm trying to make things better?! "

" You killed our sister! " Altis said.

" It wasn't intentional! " Herobrine yells as an aura blasted out of the staff and it hit Altis but had no effect on him.

" You can't hurt us, the ring knows us " Lucien approach.

Wind was blowing out and the clouds above starts to darken, I see Reese and Notch has arrived.

" Big brothers, always think their the smart ones "

" And you " He points to Notch.

" You stabbed me in the back and had to tell father " he laughs.

" The eternal ring was supposed to be used to fend of dark magic not control it " Notch said calmly.

" I had everything under control, until Irene died "

" She volunteered to sacrifice herself for you " Reese said.

Laurence and I realize that their distracting him, we both nodded at each other as I help him stand up, I extend my hand and did a spell, a light purple string of aura flows around the nether star and slowly lift up the ground but then drop again.

I'm too weak.

" Together " Laurence whispers, I nodded and we both say the spell together.

Light purple and light blue aura surrounds the nether star, slowly it lifts up from the ground and approach, I feel my magic was getting drain.

" Do you feel that? " I asked, he nodded.

" The staff is draining our magic " he said.

" I didn't choose this path! " Herobrine yells.

" And yet you killed mother! " Reese yells.

It's when the nether star was flung away from us, I gasp and we look up to see the star is in Herobrine's hand.

" The rings won't hurt you, but it can hurt them " he turns to us.
