I skip downstairs excitedly as I rush to get to my mother. I had just found out that there will be a Black Butler Ball event, and I really want to go!

I've been a huge fan of the anime ever since it first aired! This is an opportunity of a lifetime!

I reach my mom and exclaim, "Mom!"

"Yes, sweetie?" Mom inquires, turning to face me with a smile.

"There is going to be a Black Butler Ball event going on in a few days! Can I go?"

"What's Black Butler?"

I then go on to explain the basics of the anime, hoping she'll agree if I tell her. I even tell her that it's my absolute favorite anime ever!

She sweat drops, chuckling, and asks me to repeat who my favorite characters are from the anime.

"Agni, Soma, Finnian, Mey-Rin, Elizabeth, and my top favorite and crush is Charles Phipps!" I proclaim, blushing as I think about him.

He's just so amazing! Who can not love him?

Mom grins at me and says, "Alright. We'll meet up at 11:30 pm after the ball ends."

I squeal and hug her, thanking her a thousand times before running back upstairs.

Mom's POV

I go online and book two tickets for the Black Butler Ball, then end up finding an email to give a personal message to the characters.

I open it and begin typing.

As I finish off the letter, I send it and smile to myself. I can't wait to see the happy look on my daughters face.

It's the night of the ball, and I'm so thrilled to actually be here!

My mother and I walk inside, and I'm practically shaking with excitement.

As I look around the ballroom at all of my fellow fans and at the venue itself, I think about how lucky and grateful I am to be here.

That's when I notice all of my favorite characters from Black Butler are walking up to me! I stand in my spot, in a state of shock. I then snap out of that state and wave at them in enthusiasm, not caring if I look stupid or silly.

They smile and greet me back as they reach me, all of them giving me hugs. I'm so happy and surprised that I can barely breathe! I obviously hug back and thank all of them for it with a smile.

And with that, we're all talking as if we were childhood friends.

"You look beautiful, YN!" Finny compliments, and I grin at him.
