Today Lady Elizabeth is coming over to the Phantomhive Manor, most likely to visit Ciel.

Us servants have cleaned up the manor for her arrival, and now we're all waiting to greet her at the front door with Ciel.

The door bursts open and Elizabeth squeals loudly, "CIIIEEEEELLL!~"

She tackles Ciel in a hug, who stumbles and reluctantly hugs her back. "Hello Elizabeth."

"Oh, how many times do I have to tell you? Just call me Lizzy!"

Once Elizabeth is finished hugging Ciel, she faces all of us and waves enthusiastically. "Hello!~"

We all wave back slightly, giving tiny smiles.

Elizabeth locks her eyes on me and she squeals again. "Awww!! You're so cute, YN!~"

Clearing my throat nervously, I smile lightly at her, "Thank you, Lady Elizabeth."

Getting protective, Mey-Rin grabs my hand in hers. I intertwine our fingers together, and she blushes.

Elizabeth looks mildly annoyed, but she turns back to Ciel and they start talking.

Sebastian motions for us other servants to get back to work, and we do so. Letting go of my girlfriend's hand, I go continue with cleaning the halls.

Mey-Rin is carrying dishes, and as she walks, she trips nearby me. Elizabeth strolls into view right as I catch my girl so she won't hit the floor. The plates smash onto the ground and a piece flies up and cuts my wrist, but I couldn't care less about that.

Helping Mey-Rin to her feet, I grab her glasses off of the ground and put them back on her. Her face flushes red and I ask, "Are you alright, babe? That was quite a fall."

"Ah, y-y-yes! I'm f-fine, thanks to y-y-you! O-Oh dear! YN! Your wrist!"

I look down at it and see a glass shard stuck in my skin. Elizabeth immediately rushes over and shoves Mey-Rin out of the way as she inspects my wound.

I gasp lightly as my girlfriend stumbles backwards and hits the wall behind her. Ignoring Elizabeth, I take my hand back and hurry over to Mey-Rin and help her up again.

Grabbing her hand, I face Elizabeth with a slight angry glint in my eyes as I say cooly, "Don't shove my girlfriend, Lady Elizabeth."

I don't bother with saying "please," as what I was telling her was an order rather than a request.

I lead Mey-Rin away as we look for Sebastian so he can help patch me up, leaving Elizabeth fuming in the halls.

As I dust the couches with my opposite hand in a bandage, Elizabeth walks in and watches for a moment.

"Are you tired?" she asks me.

I glance at her before going back to work, shaking my head. "No."

"Are you sure you're not tired? You've been running through my mind all day."

I sigh at her attempt at flirting, then stand straight and face her. I notice Mey-Rin hiding behind a wall, watching and listening to us.

"Shouldn't you go talk to Ciel? You know, your betrothed?" I retort before heading back to work.

Elizabeth huffs and walks out, clearly hitting shoulders with my girlfriend.

After hearing a joke Lizzy told me, I laugh at the stupidity of it.

"Did the sun come out or did you just smile at me?"

I immediately stop laughing and my smile drops, sighing again and turning around. I walk away while shaking my head.

"There must be something wrong with my eyes, I can't take them off of you."

I turn around and see that it was Elizabeth who had said that. Feeling upset over her futile attempts at flirting with me rather than at HER FIANCÉ.

I just walk away again, failing to notice Mey-Rin standing in the doorway of a room I pass by in my irritated state.

Elizabeth pins me up against a wall in an empty hall, looking up at me. "You don't need keys to drive me crazy."

I furrow my eyebrows down at her and begin to shift uncontrollably.

"Lady Elizabeth, please refrain from—"

"Is it hot in here or is it just you?" she cuts me off.

Before I can say anything, I hear my beloved shouting as she runs over to us.

"LEAVE MY GIRLFRIEND ALONE!"

We look over at Mey-Rin as she stands with her hands on her hips.

I feel my face burning up, as this is the first time she has ever actually called me her "girlfriend" like this. Sure, we made things official, but she's always really nervous to call me that as a nickname or anything other than my real name, really.

"I've had enough of it, yes I have! You've been flirting with her the entire day, yet you are to be wed to Master Ciel! You know that YN is mine, so leave her alone! You're even a disgrace to me marrying my master!"

"Oh yeah? Who's going to make me stop?"

"We are."

There stands Sebastian, the other servants, and Ciel. Elizabeth gulps in nervousness.

"Step away from YN, Elizabeth," Ciel orders, and she steps away from me.

"Oh, Ciel! It's not what it looks like! Really—!"

"Cut it out, Elizabeth. It's obvious in what you were trying to do. Leave my manor at once."

"But—!"

"Now!"

Elizabeth runs off, sobbing.

"Thank you all," I say gratefully finally able to breathe normally.

They nod and leave Mey-Rin and I alone. She comes up to me and gives me a hug.

"I love you, YN," she mumbles to me, and I chuckle.

"I love you too, Mey-Rin."

I then lean down and give her a tender kiss as a 'thank you.'
