Third Person POV

Ronald has had feelings for YN ever since he met her. He was just drawn in by her amazing personality.

She was kind, sweet, a little shy at times...perfect in his eyes.

His heart hurt when he saw Grell flirting with her. He just left without a word, not waiting to see his love's reaction.

When he was alone, he cried into his hands silently. The only thing that could be heard is his ragged breathing and sniffles into the empty room.

Ronald truly believed that his love interest liked Grell and not him.

How wrong he was.

Back with YN, she glares slightly at Grell for attempting to flirt with her and sighs. "Grell, stop. You know I'm in love with someone else."

"Yeah, Ronald. I don't see why, but fine!~ Hmph!" Grell sashays away dramatically, pouting.

You shake your head and walk off with an eye roll. He didn't have to see it or understand why you like Ronald. It's none of his business anyway.

Ronald began to cough into his hands, and he felt a sharp pain in both his chest and throat. When he looked at his palms, his eyes widened at the sight of blood and FC flower petals.

He has the Hanahaki Disease.

Days go by and YN noticed a change in his demeanor, and knew she had to get to the bottom of it. So that's exactly what she did.

She knocked on Ronald's door as he was recovering from a coughing fit. "Ronald? Are you okay in there?"

He stutters out a shaky reply, "Y-Yes, I'm fine Y-YN! P-Please just...don't come i-in.."

Confused, YN opens it anyway as she says, "I'm sorry Ronald, but I'm worried about you. I'm coming in."

She gasps at the sight of him. Hair is knotted, eyes wide with panic and sadness, blood on his hands and arms. The thing that stuck out to her most were the FC flower petals.

YN took a cautious step towards him. "Ronald..? What's going on?"

"I.." he trails off, unsure on how to answer.

"Ronald." His eyes meet her stern yet caring EC orbs, and his shoulders relax unconsciously. "Tell me. Please. I want to help you."

"I..fine. I have Hanahaki Disease," he began and went on to explain everything.

YN realized that the one he loves that "rejected" him was her, and she cups his face with her hands. He stops talking, and YN places her lips on his. He kisses back, surprised.

Ronald felt the flower bud in his throat fall off and when he pulled away, he nearly choked on it. He didn't and spat it out into his hand.

YN smiled and hugged him. He hugged her back, holding her close to his chest.

She saved him.

She loved him after all.
